The New Thread Petition

Okay, the idea has been floating around in my head for months now. I want to get a big vote of all of the RG members.

Should we make a new Sporum thread for RG? Here are some reasons why I like this idea:

1. It will get us on a pretty fresh start.
2. RG's thread is in the name of GroxLord999, I'd like to use my alt account to make this new thread if we do.
3. Most of the thread's pages are filled with the spammy "chatbox?" comments and the dolphin slapping stuff. Please, keep that nonsense to the RG forums where it is allowed and not on the Sporum. If the new thread is built there will be a rule against this spam.

There is one flaw in all of this: we might not have enough members still active to get the thread back up to page 300.

Discuss, what do you think?

It's hard to say. Would it be possible to keep two threads? Onemore socially oriented and the other for entering races and being the face of RG on the Sporum?

Not on the Sporum, unless we moved to Adventure Corner. We'd get ranted for spamming, plus bb would probably annihilate the second thread.

Eh, that would be a problem. I don't know. Hm..I've noticed threads with few pages that are already having issues with activity don't tend to stick around too long. I suppose we could give it a try. But, maybe reach page 400 on the first thread before making a new one?

I don't think it's a good idea. We don't need another thread, just to stop posting "chat box?" Another thread would do more harm than good. Not many people like us as it is. A second thread would just annoy people

We'd lock the old thread you know and make a new main thread.

But the fact that we even make a new one when we have one that works fine, would just annoy people

Hmm... I'd have to agree with Scrylonsis. I don't really see a problem with our old thread.
