Well I had an idea for a large empire of beings that use robotic drones to fight for them called uh... perhaps the Mertax or Rilgar? I dunno, we can both suggest names.

I was thinking perhaps the regular specimens themselves are fragile and weak, and have cyborgs and androids do their work for them. Anything else you got?

Of course those are just a few ideas I spat out just now. We can throw them out or add them in, whichever is suitable.

I like that idea, it sounds plausible and works to my creative strengths. Name wise, I think it should be a bit less sinister. Maybe something that sounds peaceful but they are actually war like. The intellects themselves could be insectine, we don't have many of them. Insects tend to look frail and weak so it would work with their inability to do much manual labour. They could be the first empire native to another galaxy that we feature!

They could be like a race that keeps the order in their sector by destroying any antagonists. Although, you can disregard any of these ideas, I'd like the drones to have a different feel to my KGI drones. Maybe smoother with more designed armour.

I like, yes. That kind of style would be fitting.

Do you think the insects could have a more fleshy look though, instead of pure exoskeleton?

Uh, sure. The Varmal are pretty bad dudes, right? If they're willing to accept a partnership I might have something coming from one of the outlying galaxies.

I was thinking we do a race that's Cyberman-esque. (Not Cybusman, mind you)

Like, a race of humanoid beings who's homeworld drifted away from its sun into the far, cold reaches of outer space. It got so cold and conditions were so bad they had to cybernetically alter themselves to survive.

Maybe they could have fleshy upper halves and brittle, weak looking lower halves. They they would look easy to fight yet able the handle themselves as well. Culture wise, they could have a monarchy that lives in a huge, sandy palace. Are we going with the peacekeeping thing or could they be more malicious as in, they destroy the powerful empires and pirate the weak. That way they are still militaristic and sort of keep the galactic balance. They could even be like the Grox in a sence, keeping the galactic core for themselves but not in a barricade but more of the form of a race that conquers the powerful races close to them and just hold back the other powerful races.

Maybe there could even be a few races openly standing against them. Just throwing ideas off though.

Hmm, okay. A race like that wouldn't have much of a culture though...Hmm, I'll work on the creature and its outfitted form.

Well whoster, perhaps they are a bit more organic than cybernetic. They need to have some sort of culture that we can work on.

Also I thought of a race called Ramalians, anyone want to work on them with me? I've already made the creature (I'll have to share it to photobucket tomorrow)

What did you want to work on with the Varmal?

Northe was going to have one of his empires go to war with them. I dont need any help with them, I can handle them. I just wanted some help with Ramalians. Got their pic.

The Ramalian Infantry prefer to fight in fire-teams and squads, and attack with small charges, instead of making a fully frontal attack, despite their strength and size.

Alternately, their vehicular ground combat is comprised mainly of Drudger Tanks, which lead the forefront of the charge to wear down the enemy by repeatedly firing their three small cannons.
