Theoretical Ruthless Galaxy Multiplayer

A. Modes

Team Deathmatch, any of three different factions face off against eachother in a battle to collect the most kills. 60 kills to win the match.

Free For All, play as any of the loner races in a free-for-all deathmatch.

Capture the Orb, capture the Blue Orb when playing as the Dominion, and return it to your base to score, or capture the Red Orb when playing as the Confederacy, and return it to your base to score.

Retrofight, fight as the Confederacy against the Third Arm Confederacy.


B. Maps

Skorge Temple.

Malderi Spaceship.

The Temple on the Crystalline Planet, and surrounding plains.

Jorro'kil Fortress World.

Ekest's Military Complex/Unnamed Mall under Construction

Kvanun Artifact Chambers.

Vitis.

Church on Dranus.

Vathoris ship dock.

The Valence Shuttle Bay

The Resolute Complex Advanced Training Courtyard

(Please add your suggestions for maps, and specify if they should be DLC or come with the game)

C. Teams

The Confederacy - [Jorro'kil Free Absolute - Krathunian Covenant - Ryun-Wreae Federation - Xikarian Empire - Markovan Empire]

The Dominion - [The Zraak - The Karthla - The Eldraunn Architects - The Leprol - The Vaurik -The Et Hul 'Okoid Federation of the Strong - The Varmal Death Armada - The Seytanbalik]

The Terminus Pact - [The Vrentus Collective - The UFIAI - The Vil-Nolwikkan Greater Dominion - The Impirial Despot of Jiiran - The Samian Prevalence]

There would be five players on each team for the standard team deathmatch, and the player can choose their team and species. The team-choosing would be disabled in matchmaking.

D. Point of View Configuration

Third Person (Heavy and special weapons)

First Person (Carrying standard weapons)

Overhead/Third Person (When controlling vehicles)

E. Ranking

Players rank up based on individual skill, and team skill, by completing matches and winning, and having the highest score on their team. If you don't win a match OR if you take second, third, fourth or fifth place, you don't progress towards a new rank, but if you personally do well and your team doesn't, you will only progress half as far as you would if your team won, but if you lose you will suffer no repercussions. (e.g being kicked down to a lower rank) Ranks allow players to unlock armor and weapons.

F. Rewards

If a player completes a match by getting 20 kills and not dying once, they will move ahead a rank and a half, unless their team lost, in which case they will only move ahead by one rank.

This would be a really good idea. I wonder if we could incorporate any aspects of naval warfare in addition.

Actually, Battlefield was kind of my inspiration.. and I've never played any of those games.

I could actually make an Spore adventure like this. Well, granted it wouldn't ve multiplayer, but I suffice. In fact, I made [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that resembles the "conquest" game modes (kill enemies in an area, it belongs to your team), but it doesn't work the other way round...
