Howdy Folks!

Thought I'd introduce myself, seeing I've become a member of the forum.

I used to play Spore like there was no tomorrow, and use the Sporum even more. Any SciFi RPs I could join on the Sporum, I joined. I even hosted my own RP, Wild Space, and at least 2 sequels after that. When the Sporum became empty, I had the hardest time finding a new place to RP. Now that I've found this site, I will definitely be staying.

Are a few of you from the Epic War adventure series? I think I recalled seeing a Zartian in someone's Avatar.

*raises hand* But I quit 'cause too many of them were jerks.

It's always nice to have new members, and we're glad to have you here, Yadidle, although we have separated from the Sporum by this point, and it's no longer a huge requirement to make Spore creations or adventures. These days if you want to you can just draw your creations, although Spore is usually used if you can't draw.

In regards to the EAW (You can kind of guess by Whoster's post) a few people on this forum are former members, who left because they were bullied, or just didn't work well with the other members of that group. When Ruthless Galaxy was first founded, there was a huge amount of hostility between us and the EAW, as well, because overall we're very similar, and I also just got the impression the EAW didn't like us, even if we weren't doing anything wrong (I say this because I was subjected to a lot of scorn and to this day have no clue why, because I never really had anything to deal with them until I was a moderator of RG).

All of this being said, most of us don't bring up the EAW, because we have no clue where the conversation will turn after that point.

Yes. I do tend to come on a bit strong.. or whatever the internet equivilant of that is. Because of this, I hold Darkel (Club Founder) responsible for anything I say.

Welcome. I never joined EAW because it was far to limited.

I mean only three teams. Life, modern or fictional isn't that black and white. There are many parths a race can follow and they don't always fit snugly into a category of good, evil or neutral.

Eh, no. lol.

Actually as the club founder you are technically responsible for everything that happens here.

I got some sour vibes from EAW as well, and a few members seem downright rotten after playing various steam games with them.

I have glad something like this is still kicking, I love forum based RPing.

That's just a cheap way for troublemaking members to transfer blame. Yes, I am responsible for activity here, but that doesn't mean that if something happens, I'm the one to blame, unless I'm involved myself. Any edgy or offensive comments made by anyone here are immediately their responsibility. It is my responsibility to remove those comments. And that is exactly what my responsibility is as founder.

Well, I get the impression the EAW is somewhat exclusive, if you aren't an original member, or part of whatever sub-group there is, then you don't get treated the same as the others. We try not to have any of that here, because in my own personal opinion it's extremely rude, although I also say this after having forced myself to learn how to have a thicker skin, and may or may not have seen them differently (I didn't interact with them much, I never fully understood those events).

This set aside, Ruthless Galaxy has a generally friendly and open community, and moderators here are approachable, because when we aren't doing anything important, we're participating in forum activities like regular members. If you have any problems, feel free to PM someone and we'll try to solve the issue. I hope you have fun as a part of our group.
