Eirian Empire
BIOLOGY: Eirians are vaguely theropodian creatures, usually reaching between 6 and 7 feet tall. Their heads look similar to a dinosaur’s that has been flattened, giving a more anthropoid appearance, and their eyes are more forward facing. They have digitigrade legs, and each foot has 3 toes, two forward and one back. Their eyes are normally black and the irises can be gold, grey, green, and brown. They are conditioned to the high gravity of Eiria Prime (10.12 g), which makes them strong compared to other species. Apart from their ability to create and use tools and their relatively high strength compared to other species, Eirians lack natural means of attack and self-defense apart from biting.
RELIGION: They are very secular. The closest they have to a religion is that they believe that fortune will frown upon those who do not abide by their code of honor.
HISTORY: Eirians originally came to be on the planet Eiria Prime six thousand years ago. They quickly built a thriving civilization. Being somewhat aggressive by nature, they fought multiple wars, and remained splintered into nation states for most of their history. Around one thousand years ago, they unified under a single government and began to spread to the stars. In a neighboring system they encountered another civilization, the Erramos, who they fell into conflict with and managed to destroy completely. This gave them new resolve, and they continued to spread their empire.
CULTURE: The Eirian culture is militaristic, with emphasis also placed on efficiency and hard work. Their aggressive nature has also meant that their technology moves forward at a rapid pace so that they may further their interests with ease.
Architecture is solid, with a mix between medieval and futuristic. Their vessels are solid and utilitarian, and warships are designed to look imposing. Their interior design is minimalistic and spartan. They have a wide range of music, with a tendency towards a thick heavy sound. For entertainment they do anything from sports to virtual reality games, the biggest limitation being that they can’t injure other people or damage their property without their consent.
GOVERNMENT: Socialistic Autocracy
The empire is ruled with absolute authority by the Emperor. Below him is the Advisor and Supreme Commander of the military. Each star system is overseen by an Overseer. Each planet is divided into 24 districts, each with a governor.
Each leader in the empire’s chain of command is expected to follow a set of protocols. In addition, each star system is expected to send a percentage of raw material to the government to sustain building operations. Apart from this, they are free to do as they see fit.

Technology
Particle bolt turret: a dual-barreled turret 30 feet in diameter firing pulsed particle beams. Used against other warships. These turrets are usually operated by the ship’s AI with a gunner overseeing. They can also be fired manually. They do damage via intense heat and kinetic energy.
Point defense turret: scaled down particle bolt turret 10 feet in diameter. Usually controlled automatically by the ship’s AI system for nearly 100 percent accuracy.
Mass Driver (MD) turret/gun: a railgun which fires armored slugs at high velocity (varies per vehicle). These slugs can be switched between solid rounds and antimatter warheads.
Streak missile: a versatile missile designed to fulfill both anti-ship/anti-air and strike roles. They are 6 feet long and utilize an antimatter warhead. Warship missiles have a 10 megaton yield.
Physi-beam: utilizes a beam-shaped modified force field to move an object in a desired direction. Inertia affects both objects, so usually they will be used by a larger object against smaller one. They are especially useful for capturing smaller vessels. The power depends on the attached power source and size of the projector.
Shielding: an invisible volumetric field that can be projected onto the surface of an object or into bubble shapes. Shields are capable of blocking both directed energy attacks and kinetic impacts, however they are susceptible to being overloaded. Once overloaded, the shield fails and must be recharged before it can be brought up again. Shield power depends on the power source and generator size.
Tachyon reactor: annihilates tachyonic matter derived from hyperspace producing enormous amounts of energy.
Powerarmor: All military units are equipped with a set of powerarmor, which varies somewhat based on job and military branch. This powerarmor contains a shield backing up starship grade armor, powerful sensor suite, and AMS (Advanced Movement System-provides magnetic grip and jetpack systems). It can function as a space suit/climate control unit, can perform some first aid, and is equipped with a virtual intelligence to compliment the user. It also contains a small matterconverter system. The suit multiplies the user’s strength fivefold and allows them to run much faster.
Army and navy variants have lighter armor and shielding, and have a small particle bolt cannon on each wrist. Marine variants feature heavier armor and shielding, as well as incorporating retractable wrist blades in addition to the wrist particle bolt cannon. Their backpack also contains a mini-missile launcher.
Matterconverter: uses a combination of magnetic and gravitational fields as well as physi-beams to rearrange matter on the chemical, atomic, and subatomic levels. This allows the conversion between wholly different substances, such as plastic and metal. A matterconverter can also condense energy into matter and vice versa, allowing a matterconverter to be attached to a reactor to produce material at a rapid rate. There are limits to this however, as the amount of energy required to make matter is phenomenal, making it easier to convert between substances. Matterconverter systems are applied in many different ways, from ship repair systems to construction to medicine.

Surface Forces
The Eirian army is responsible for surface mechanized warfare. They provide the various surface vehicles and the personnel to operate them. Infantry is taken care of by the Eirian marines (a sub-sect of the navy).
Unit Types
QUAD-CLASS TANK: the main battle tank of the Eirian Empire. While not carrying the firepower of the Behemoth-class walker, the Quad-class is significantly faster and does have enough firepower to still be a significant threat. Powerful antigravity units in the side pods allow give the tank great speed and allow it to hover over obstacles.
Length: 30 feet
Height: 8.313 feet (+1 foot clearance)
Armament: heavy particle bolt cannon; 6 Streak missiles (10 ton each); 2 medium particle bolt cannons
Max Speed: 120 mph
BEHEMOTH-CLASS WALKER: used for ground assaults by the Eirian empire when orbital bombardment won't suffice. Bringing a combination of firepower and heavy armor to the battlefield, these lumbering machines certainly are appropriately named.
Length: 100 feet
Height: 50.75 feet
Armament: heavy particle bolt turret; Streak missile battery (32 missiles, 10 ton each); 3 medium particle bolt turrets
Max Speed: 50 mph
PREDATOR-CLASS WALKER: the smaller cousin to the Behemoth-class. Used for reconnaissance and rapid infantry support, its smaller size allows it to go into smaller areas such as found in cities and forests. It is also used for peacekeeping on Eirian worlds, especially after they have been conquered.
Length: 22 feet
Height: 33.25 feet
Armament: medium dual particle bolt cannon; 2 grenade launchers
Max Speed: 65 mph
THUNDERBOLT-CLASS MOBILE ARTILLERY: a mediums-sized mobile artillery unit fielded by the Eirian army. The entire vehicle is built around the large railgun it carries, which fires 2,041 kilogram solid projectiles at up to Mach 10, although muzzle velocity can be adjusted to achieve howitzer performance versus normal large guns.
Length: 31.5 feet
Height: 16.5
Armament: heavy railgun (48 shots; Mach 10 max)
Max Speed: 50 mph
