The Disruption (IC) Empty The Disruption (IC)

Post by Whos Mon Jul 30, 2012 11:01 pm

The Galaxy is in chaos. Many empires have risen to to power for reasons of selfishness or selflessness. After the galaxy was devastated by a huge galactic war, the Grox began destroying the inner core empires to establish balance. With the Grox armies spread out and with little defense on their worlds, Krados, an ambitious individual searching for power and dominance, launched an invasion of the Grox and everyone. Gather many allies under the Dominion. His speech is moving, his smile charming, and his personality alluring. How can one resists? Many follow him out of fear, or sheer loyalty.

Go ahead and take off from the IC in the Sporum, and continue on from those stories.

The Disruption (IC) Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

Post by Darkel Tue Jul 31, 2012 10:43 am

Kradus was now near a large lake on Necroterra. It was foggy and dark, the sky was black with the night and the blue, blue stars shinned down on him. His evil heart pumped with sin, darkness, and utter chaos. Tormented and beaten as a child, Kradus is now what no mere mortal could ever have imagined in the days of the Loccalians. Jadels are fierce warriors, making this villain the wrong one to pick on.

Kradus walked forward, water up to the midpoint of his shins. He had waterproof electronic armor on so the water did not electricute him. He spoke out a strange language... Karthlese... a poem...

"When dawn is dark and dusk is light
what shall make of a stary night?"

"Shall we fall or shall we rise, or shall we hit a great demise...
Falling, falling all day long, never knowing when we'll hit

Gone with the wind with sin and vice
all day long, falling to our own great demise.."

An old Karthla poem.. it didnt make much sense but stil... suddenly the Aldut rose from the waters, it had been hiding in the lake waiting for its master's call.

"Now is the time to fight little one" said Kradus. "Now is the time..."

__________________________________________________________________

Lamor had just been beamed down to the planet. He waited for Xej to be beamed down as well.

Xej had now been beamed down, next to Lamor. He was slightly dizzy.

"Ok Lamor, care to tell me what's going on? First I was knocke dout by that...gas, and now I'm here? I should have been briefed first, anyways, unless this is a mission of secrecy." Said Xej.

"I found Kradus's location on the Grudge's maps. He's down this path down this hill and over at that lake. We have to go!" Lamor shouted.

Kradus stood in the waters. The cool breeze of the night soothed him. Kradus had always loved the feeling. Ever since the sights on Locce...

"Gone with the wind, was was greatest will too fall"

The words of his past floated in his dark mind like echoes in the wind. A chilling aura came to him. Suddenly he felt a hint of pain in his head. Then...

His eyes closed, he saw Lord Knoll falling into the lava... dead...

Kradus fell to his knees. He gasped and was so worried. Unlike most of the times when he failed and threw a tantrum, this time he was too afraid to be angry. Tears began to stroll from his red, red eyes. His eyes were said to contain the blood of his victims, but now it releases tears.
For the first time... Kradus had in mind that his great empire might not last much longer. He suddenly awoke from the vision. The Aldut was back underwater and he heard footsteps not far behind him...

The Disruption (IC) Empty Jorro'kil and the Ryun-Wreae

Post by Whos Wed Aug 01, 2012 4:48 pm

The Scout fleet under the Command of Captain Zrauj which had encountered Barborin's Grand Fleet was now heading back out, after Zrauj had reported his findings to his superiors, and after a long and tedious questioning. They were to return to Ryun-Wreae space with a Diplomat, and to have an official meeting, of all three races.

The Disruption (IC) Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

Post by Zaroas Thu Aug 02, 2012 7:53 am

Federation year 3098, approximately 100 years ago

The ground reverberated with explosions as rounds from pulse cannons pounded the surface of the planet Gharlag. The target was a heavy armored vehicle, the passengers of which were five of the elite Ryun troopers. These soldiers were the best of the Ryun army, called "The Five," from within the colonies. They were about to take the fight to the source of the havoc - The war would end where it began.

It was the end of the Metan Wars, in which the Wreae machines revolted against their creators when a virtual intelligence went corrupt and gained sentience, giving this gift to the Wreae and commanding them against the Ryun. This VI was housed in a testing facility, sealed off from the rest of a colony that used to be. The area it used to occupy, a metropolis, was devastated, what with every inhabitant killed. It was completely desolate, except for The Five and the operators of the vehicle. The leader of The Five was a Ryun simply known as The Commander. None of his soldiers knew his name, or needed to. They had been sent in to destroy the Metan. Aerial bombardment was useless, as the Wreae had created a device to prevent targeting by the Ryun Assault Cruisers and Dreadnoughts. Manual targeting was too inefficient, and seemingly the most effective way to end the threat was to send The Five.

The vehicle stopped at a large, facility that seemed to be a factory. It stood out from the fallen skyscrapers and buildings that were now made of ashes, and thus it was easy to tell that it was the source of the commotion. The plasma cannons on top of the heavily plated vehicle were activated, shooting at the steel exterior of the facility. A hole eventually gave way to the inside of it. The Wreae would be focusing on the Ryun forces attempting to gain access to the front entrance of the building. The hatch to the vehicle opened, and The Five quickly jumped out, running into the gaping maw of their enemy. Each was armed with a particle rifle and a plasma shotgun - Being weighed down by these weapons was no problem for the biology of the Ryun species. The Commander was the last out, rushing into the facility just before a Wreae Airship decimated the vehicle with pulse turrets.

The building's sleek white hallways were mostly devoid of any troops. The Commander took note of this as The Five walked calmly with their weapons drawn and ready. They had, however, underestimated the preparedness of the Wreae - Upon entering a largely open area, plasma turrets on the ceiling had activated, spraying the material across the room at the troops. Four of them has been lucky to get to turret in time - Another one, not so much. He had found his armor and his body full of plasma, and he dropped to the ground. The Commander and the others did not have time to grieve, as one of them disabled the turrets with an EMP grenade before continuing. One was down, four were left.

Eventually, they came to a huge, open area. This was mostly sterile in order to keep machines running effectively, with temperature control and the like. At the center of this room was a hologram projector, connected to much machinery and a main generator. This was the Metan. The soldiers had little time to take cover behind machinery before a full squad of heavily armed Wreae entered the area, tactically throwing down smoke grenades. The Five, or rather The Four simply activated their heat signature vision on their scouters before they started aiming at Wreae. Two of them, hiding behind a crate, were taken down when a rocket tore through the object and ripped them to shreds. Only two of The Five remained, and one of them was The Commander. It was no wonder, as this was a suicide mission for the ages.

"I'll hold them off! Get to the generator!" The other soldier said, nodding to The Commander. He threw another EMP grenade, disabling the Wreae long enough for The Commander to get to cover behind the generator. After dealing with a couple Wreae, he tore open the metallic cover of the generator. Then, backing up slowly, he started firing his plasma shotgun, each blast sending pressurized plasma into the machinery. It was too strong as to what the Commander expected, and exploded. The force of this blast was enough to tear off The Commander's outstretched arm and kill the other officer, who had slowly been working his way up there. The whole place was in ruins, and The Commander was alone, putting pressure on his wound and screaming, both in victory, and in pain. They had defeated the Metan, and taken their servants away from its corruption. The fact that he would have to get a robotic prosthetic later was an afterthought to his celebration and extreme pain.

That's when he saw it - A Wreae, holding one metallic limb out for him. The robot had a 1 marked on the side of his shoulder, indicating that he was the first unit to ever be created. The machine spoke words that The Commander will never forget, as it marked a new era of prosperity for the Federation.

"We wish to join the Federation once more, Commander Zaroas."

Grand Councilor Zaroas awoke with a jolt. He had fallen asleep at the Democracy area that housed the Federation, caught up in reading about the other races. He reached up with his robotic right arm at his scouter, activated it, and continued reading. That's when he got a message from Commander Barborin, one of the most trusted military officers in the Federation. It spoke of a scouting fleet of an empire called The Jorro'kil, and their new efforts at diplomacy. After a bit of a pause, he realized that the Jorro'kil were here, as a ship he had seen in the port earlier closely resembled that of which Barborin spoke of.

"They must be sending a diplomat..." The High Councilor mused, and sent a message to Barborin to arrange a meeting in Ganna, the capital of Ieegar. This was going to be interesting.

There was a dark, sadistic laugh from above. It was Raik, and he was standing in one of the platforms above him. "So, the mighty Lord Kradus, reduced to tears? Pathetic!" There was another howl of laughter, but eventually, it died. "Your end will come, Kradus, very soon, I believe, and with your defeat, I'm afraid, the Dominion will crumble at my hands."

Kradus whipped the redish tears from his bloodstained eyes. He looked up at Raik. He had recognized this form... Raik had let off a bomb in an attempt to kill General Shancar many years ago when he decided to rebel. No other Dominion people wanted to join him, so he became a space pirate lord and then found the Hive. Kradus's heart pounded with anger at the sight of this.

"You have no idea who you're messing with Raik, it was enough to attempt to assassinate one of my best generals, but insult me, you have no idea the fate you are sewing" said Kradus. Kradus was just waiting for Raik to come down and strike him, so Kradus would send the massive Aldut upon him...

Raik didn't laugh at this, "Let me tell you something, space trash." He said, remaining on his perch, "The first and second arms are already under my control. And if you didn't notice that, I don't know how you managed to rule the Karthla in the first place." He threatened, "Your end is coming, and when my beloved Queen Nyssa finally brings the galaxy to peace under her rule, I'll have all the spoils and power." He said. When he mentioned the queen, it was clear he was just tricking her. "Don't underestimate my minions, because they are something that even the Karthla would have trouble fighting." With this, he vanished, as footsteps grew louder.

Kradus grinned now. "Not anymore..." he said to himself. Then he plucked a large flask of a green liquid from his belt. He always carried this around to help his wounds, it was a Karthla healing remedy. Karthla had used it on him several times. But it wasn't always just for healing wounds. He pulled the large cork out and slowly poured the green slime into the black waters. When the flask was empty, he threw it far out into the water. Then he saw a large flash of purplish light emerge from the waters. The Aldut. Kradus heard more people approaching. He turned around to see Lamor and Xej, down by the rocks, they had not spotted him yet. He smiled his charmingingly wicked grin... however inside he still shook with fear of the two of these warriors and what might happen in the mitst of the night...

The Jorro'kil Cruiser, identi-tag 1-057Y, was approaching Ryun-Wreae space. Its esort were two small Corvette ships, each with medium defensive weaponry.

Captain Ni-Yerx was the Commander of Cruiser 1-057Y. The Diplomat onboard was a "veteran" of negotiations. His name was Xiur-Jal.

The small fleet of three slowly approached the newfound empire's territory, taking caution incase this was some sort of trap. Even though it was most likely not a trap, precautions were always taken.

Eventually, the Cruiser and the Corvettes reached the "Gate" of the Ryun-Wreae. Ni-Yerx sent the Ryun-Wreae a COM.

"This is Captain Ni-Yerx of the Jorro'kil, request permission to dock, for diplomacy meeting."

The Kardesh master form rested on planet Kardine. It took the shape of a huge armoured, bent oval shaped brain, with a thick tentacle erupting from the bottom and curling it's way towards the floor. The tendril then curled in a snake-like fashion. The master form also had four more, thick tendrils (not as much as the first though) that looked like arms. A single eye granted the beast sight. This was a human eye with a green iris that potruded from the huge brain. Hundreds of thousands if small tendrils pushed their way through the armour covering the brain and would eventually grow into the arm tentacle fashion. It bared resembalence to a table lamp but a hundred times bigger.

This monster was resting atop a spire of immobile Kardesh matter. The spire was at the centre of a huge city like structure of Kardesh matter that heaved with trillions of Kardesh forms. A dozen massive scavenger beasts drifted above the city like massive protectors. A lightening storm was rattling the city but only made the whole place seem even more horrific. As a streak of lightening highlighted the master form in a blue glow. The beast was a sight to behold. It's huge arms moved in a fluid motion but where the width of a pipe in a home plumbing system. And as long as four average humans standing on each others heads. The eye blinked and a deep roar echoed from the beast. A sight to behold.

Xej slowly crept through the mist-filled bog with Lamor.

"Lamor." Xej said, in a whisper. "Where's Olcazoz and Feruren? why aren't they with us?" Whispered Xej, as he ever slowly approached Kradus, sword in-hand. He had yet to take notice of Raik, strangely enough.

"I haven't heard from them since Skorge" said Lamor getting his long sword from a holster in his belt. He crafted this sword himself. "I wish they were here though, I'm not sure I can handle Kradus a second time" said Lamor. "Wait listen!" Lamor shushed the both of them.

Kradus was speaking something Karthlese... as he spoke it Lamor began to feel a pain throb in his stomach. He began to fall to his knees slowly, grunting. He tried not to be loud. Kradus began to fingert he waters and chant a strange chant. Then he got on his knees, lifting his hands into the air, and shrieked a loud chant. Suddenly lights of blue, gree, purple, pink and other assorted colors appeared in the sky, like that in the skies of Antarctica on Earth.

His eyes closed and the waters began to glow with a strange color, green and purple. A white fog lifted from the waters, it was thick and nasty. It fogged the three's visions a bit.

"What's happening?" Lamor grunted as the pain in his stomach left.

Chief General Barborin was sitting in the control room of a large Freedom class Cruiser. Unlike many Federation cruisers, this ship was meant for scouting out possible colony planets and peace missions. However, it was equipped with quite efficient and powerful weaponry and usually accompanied by several Vangaurd starfighters and a couple Marauder class light corvettes. It was here that he received the transmission.

"Hello Captain, this is Chief General Barborin of the Ryun-Wreae Federation 1st Fleet. You are cleared to dock so we can escort you to Ieegar, where the diplomacy meeting will be held."

Barborin was calm and cool while making the transmission, having dealt with the Jorro'kil before. Some of the other diplomats looked somewhat nervous, however. The anxiety was understandable, as it was their first time making peace with another species.

It was going to be a meeting of hope and prosperity, and hopefully the Federation would make more friends with this alliance then enemies.

"Overseer, we believe the Jorro'kil are attempting to ally with a so far neutral race." a kar'geualiea announced to overseer Scrylis. "Our sleeper cells have indicated this and various intercepted transmissions support this."

Scrylis was in a meeting with lady Vin'Schet and dr harling. They where discussing the fragments project.
"Sent a ship to observe. No need to engage them." Scrylis muttered
"I could go." Vin'Schet offered
"No, this is a minor matter. The Jorro'kil have illusions of grandeur. They are no threat to us now." Scrylis was adamant "Three Manaclaw cruisers will do. Only engage if absolutely nessissary." Scrylis ordered "Take a few million Drudgers. I don't want casualties either."

The three Manaclaw cruisers exited hyperspace just at the edge of the federations sensors. The cruisers could also see Barborins ship from their position. Hopefully they wouldn't be noticed.

Commander Ni-yerx was pleased. Hopefully this would go smoothly.

"Fleet, follow our cruiser. We will move in and dock at Planet Ieeger." He spoke over the COMM.

The tri-ship fleet moved almost gracefully through space, its prescence being continually accompanied by probes and other, smaller Ryun-Wreae ships.

Eventually they reached the coordinates for planet Ieeger, and slowly descended into the atmosphere. Several COMMs were passed, having to do with clearification and which dock to use. After the small hassles were finished, The cruiser finally docked.

The Manaclaws sat in silence. The Jorro'kil had docked on the planet and where about to start diplomacy. All the Kar'Geualiea thought that was unrealistic. The Jorro'kil where too aggressive. Slowly, a probe drifted towards them. It was small and primitive. Hopefully it wouldn't notice them. But the probe was worrying. It shouldn't be this far out on a race controlling only one planet. Where they bigger then that? Where they an actual threat? Maybe they where. Maybe they where aggressive. A beam of purple light erupted from the front Manaclaws prow. The beam streaked towards the probe and sparks flew off of it in every direction. Then it disintergrated. Maybe the DevilReap sleeper cells in the Jorro'kil could explain more.

((Scry, this is supposed to be the homeplanet of the Federation... It's much more heavily guarded than a single probe. Seriously?))

Chief General Barborin stepped off the ship at the docking station, breathing in the refreshing Ieegan air. He was glad to be home. It was apparent that his diplomats and the two elite soldiers that guarded him were, as well. It was here that he first met with the Jorro'kil, the Captain and some diplomats, in person. He greeted them with a Ryun greeting of honor, clasping his hands on his exoskeletal chest and bowing.

"Welcome, Jorro'kil, to our homeworld of Ieegar. It is here that our Federation was born and still prospers today. It is the center of our ever expanding empire of the stars. Now if you'll follow me, we can get to the meeting room."

He had been walking down to the room for only a couple seconds when he got a comm request from Chief General Durina, a military figure who kept a close eye on the space around Ieegar. Barborin activated his scouter so he could speak to her, and kept walking.

"Barborin? You there?" She asked, seeming worried and puzzled. "An old, derelict probe just found something in dark space just inside the system. It got destroyed, however. We've been able to pick up these ships up on the scanning system of a Shadow class Cruiser - They seem to be three cruisers of unknown origin. Definitely not of Federation or Jorro'kil origin."

"You said it was picked up on a Shadow? Tell it to jam their communications and their stealth systems so they can't make a quick getaway. Also send a Judgement class Assault Cruisers with some smaller crusiers and corvettes covering the flanks. Try not to engage immediately, and communicate first, but if they show hostility, fire away. I'm not taking any risks, and if these things are powerful enough to destroy that, then send a damn Dreadnought! That's an order, Durina."

"Yes, sir." The comm ended with those words. Barborin turned to the Jorro'kil slowly, observing their slim, birdlike features, and then speaking.

"We've detected something outside the system. Seems to be three cruisers, aggressive so it seems. It's not of your origin or of anything we know of. Tell me, Captain, is there any race that would have interest in this diplomacy meeting?"

((Soz, I only had a single probe because they're a long way out. Far from the defences.))

The Kar'Geualiea sleeper cell had stayed aboard the Jorro'kil ship. He was only a low ranked techie. Kar sleeper cells where very unique. They are actually horrifice beasts grow from a single cell in huge egg like structures. The beasts have a number of natural defences like organic swords, venom glands and sheer strength. Once they are fully grown, the monsters are given a perception filter that dosent effect the beast themselves, but edit the observers perception of it, making the monster seem like the species it is infiltrating. And to make it even more effective, the monsters are given a second consciousness (it isn't really like that but it's easiest to describe like that). The second mind acts as a shroud, acting like the infiltrated race and actually believing the lie. Lie detectors won't show anything, because they don't believe they ate lieing. But, when threatened, the real mind comes through and defends itself. If the cell is discovered, the monster will reveal it's true form and kill anything that suspects foul play. Hopefully it can weed it's way back into the enemy but it is not certain.

Right now, the Jorro'kil agent was gathering information on the Ryun. They seemed normal enough. No deep secrets ore major defences that aren't nessissary. Just normal. But the real mind was wary. No one was this powerful but hadn't met aliens before. It was as if they where hiding something. But sleepers where unnaturally suspicious and paranoid.

"Firstly, it is an honor to be a guestn here on your homeworld, and secondly your question is an excellent place to begin the discussion." Said Ni-Yerx, examining the robotic humanoid look of the Ryun. The Diplomat nodded his beak.

They were both wearing uniforms the difference being the Commander was wearing grey and blue, while the Diplomat was wearing purple and gold.

"We know of few empires who would wish to pry into this meeting, as the war is going relatively in our favor. Our main enemies would be the Dominion, several smaller empires, and the Kar'Geualiea, who have disappeared from space, and only occasionally appear every now and then. We have unfortunately been unable to track the scum down. We have, however, many alliances aswell. The Jorro'kil Empire is part of a Confederacy, which controls the entire third arm of this Galaxy."

________________________________________________________________________

Meanwhile....

Aboard the second escort corvette, the Sleeper Agent, along with several other crew and soldiers aboard the ship, was having a routine checkup and scan for any parasites or physical sicknesses. When the Sleeper's turn came, it was revealed. The scan was strong enough to detect that the beat in its true form was not Jorro'kil at all. After pretending not to know, the medics exited the room, leaving the Sleeper there. A few minutes later, and through all three doors into the room came Jorro'kil Infantry. They surrounded the monster, weapons aimed directly at it.

((The Ryun themselves are insectoid, it's the Wreae that are machines. Sorry for not clarifying that.))

Chief General Barborin nodded his head. It was likely to be the Kar'Geualiea that was attempting to either spy on or sabotage the meeting. He figured an empire like that would appear on occasion would show up to this.

"It is good to see that your empire has many allies. Adversaries should not be too much of a problem, as they may not conceive us as a threat until it's too late. This is an interesting time, so it seems, to find us - Grand Councilor Zaroas, one of the 6 Grand Councilors, is reporting from the Ethorgian Democracy on the politics and the like of the galaxy. Times of tension, so it seems."

On the edge of the Ieegan system, the Judgement class Assault Cruiser sped to the source of the sudden suspicion in Barborin - The three Manaclaw cruisers. A couple smaller cruisers and corvettes covered the flanks of the large ship and fighters were ready to be deployed.

"Disable their stealth systems," Unit 78043, pilot of the Assault Cruiser, said to the Shadow class Infiltration Cruiser that travelled close to the Assault Cruiser. "Do not disable communications unless they show hostility or try to flee. Corvettes and cruisers, be ready to engage but do not fire upon sight."

Directing the comm system at the three, floating cruisers, the Unit spoke. "You are trespassing upon the territory of the Ryun-Wreae Federation of the United Ieegan Systems. We require the information of who you are and what you need here. If you do not cooperate, we will destroy you."

"I see, Let me note that the Ethorgian and a member of our Confederacy are rivals. The Ethorgian, from reading what is known about them in our allies' files on the creatures, are somewhat sly, deceitful beings. But, enough of the Ethorgian, let us move on to more important topics." The Captain said.

"I will return to the cruiser now, the Diplomat will continue the discussion." With this, Ni-Yerx proceeded to return the way he came, guarded by one Jorro'kil Elite Shock Troop, the other remained with the Diplomat.

"So, we should discuss trade routes, territory, weapons, and such. Please, begin. It is easier for me if the persons I am discussing state their wishes and such before I state ours." Said the Diplomat.

The Ryun fleet approaching the Manaclaws was bold. Very bold. They had threatened the KGI. That was a mistake. The captain opened the communications.

~Ha! You threaten us when we hold all the cards! Be warned new comers, you are taking the side of our enemy. If you join them, war will befall your people and your planets will be drained. You will ask who we are. Tell your Jorro'kil friends- we are, the Kar'Geualiea!~

And then the transmission stopped. All the three ships weapon systems where primed and the boarding ships where crewed. They would fight now. If the Ryun chose the wrong side.

Meanwhile...

The sleeper beast had been detected. It's mission was a failure. No more hiding. No more secrecy. The beast deactivated the perception filter and it's true mind cane forward. A huge sword of bone took the left hand. A thick armour plating covered the brown body and a dozen mandibles covered the mouth. It's deep red eyes scanned the area and self destruct protocols where primed.

"We do not mean harm, Kar'Geualiea. However, it is us that hold all the cards. If you attempt to attack, your fleet will be surrounded by ours. This is not pur only planet, and should you try to attack, fleets from many will destroy you. Your perception that we are weak is false, and should you choose to attack, you will be decimated. We, however, shall not. We do not mean to cause a war between our empires, merely to defend our planet. I will give you one chance, Kar'Geualiea. Leave now, or be destroyed.

~We will leave. We do not wish to harm you, at this moment. But, convey a message to the Jorro'kil. They have been a worthy foe to us and we wish to congratulate them, before we destroy them. And for you, it would be better not to threaten every new race you meet. There are far worse then us in the galaxy~

Meanwhile...

A crewman approached Commander Xentax, with a a data pad in his hands. He walked up behing the Commander, and addressed him.

"Commander Xentax, Sir, we have found several traces of energy particles which......match the energy field of a Manaclaw cruiser." Said the crewman.

"WHAT?!" Shouted Xentax. "Right then, hopefully we've found them. Do you have a lock on the general location of the enegry traces?" He asked.

"Yes Sir, we do." replied the Crewman.

"Excellent!" Xentax then proceeded to order the dispersal of the coordinates, and the whole fleet's movement towards that point. A fleet of 100 ships. They weren't going to let teh Kar'geuealiea go this time.
