Birthday Suggestions

Hello everyone. As you know, RG's first birthday is approaching. February 24th will mark the club's first year!

We're going to do some fun filled festivities here on that day. We'd like to know what you guys would be interested (and active) in doing. So far we've decided that we're going have a party thread, a chatbox rally call, and lots of contests. We are also thinking about redesigning the looks of the forum and giving it new colors, pictures, and skins. What else do you guys think we could do for fun here in the forum?

How about a rp event where all races have to work together to fight an galactic size enemy? Example: "An unknown creature has ripped open a portal in the center of the galaxy. You and other races enemies and allies alike must work together to defeat it."

I dunno, our races all have something going in the RP right now, except for a few, and that sort of thing would probably go stale unless everyone was enthusiastic about it. Of course, it all depends on how large the threat is, and what kind of threat.

I guess we could have a few contests!

Also ruthless galaxy TF2 server!

Not everyone has TF2, but I say we start a Ruthless Galaxy Halo server (For the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved) but only like, two of us here have that game, that I know of. Me, and curius.

Whoster, a new copy of Halo: CE for the PC is around $20. I'm not sure I or others want to pay that money just to play on a server that may not even last a while. However, A TF2 server is a much better idea. Although not everyone has it TF2 is very accessible and free.

Originally we had planned on making our own "pc video game" using UDK software, but I failed to do so. That software is very complex and confusing, of course I'm not much of a programmer myself. Eventually I gave up on it and have been looking for a more simple program to use that still creates good looking games.

@Zaroas: Ok, I know little about TF2 other than that it's a multiplayer game with characters. Not sure what you mean about Halo: CE PC's server's not lasting a while though. It's been around since 2004 I believe.
