Sandy Retribution (IC)

Although one of the largest threats, not all eyes focused on the Dominion. Races continued to wage war, and others sought to spread and find room. This caused the Galaxy to delve into chaos, regardless of the Karthla hoards. The galaxy was anything but peaceful.

The Jorro'kil Executive seemed to be staring at a far wall in the Meeting Room, but was really recieving data on the "Grand Council Meeting" via a COMM device near his ear. After listening to all the info available, he turned to Emperor Riley and his slave.

"Due to this "Grand Council Meeting" we will cancel this meeting. It will be re-scheduled." Said the Executive. "Please follow me back to your shuttle, you are to leave ASAP."

Afterthe Executive said this, he thought to himself: "Idiotic reptiles. They have no form of honor, much less manners. Despicable beings..."

While Emperor was leaving, he was thinking the same about the birds. "Well then, thank you for your time, are we still enemies? Or have we found temporary Peace? Riley requested.

"Neutrality, if you attack us we go back to war. If we attack you, you won't remain." The Executive said, checking something on his wrist COMM.

"Come, this way." He said, walking past the Emperor and his slave, down a corridor.

The orbital bombardments of Leevin-3 had begun, General Kaenek's fleet had already destroyed 43 perent of the orbital defenses. They broke through the blockade of rebel cruisers and started landing dropships on the surface.

While Yil took care of the ships in space, five large pods landed on what little of Leevin's land was left. Out of the biggest pod came the Xikelic Mercinary Nelus Kicavis. He was the leader of the squad that landed. They were all highly trained. It would be a long, long battle. The edge of the fortress was less then a mile away. Nilus led the troops on, facing little enemy fire. Only when they got to the fortress did things get hard. Bullets whizzed everywhere, occasionally hitting Nilus's heavy armor. He shot back, and eventually entered the structure. Sirens went off and troops, Jorro'Kil and Xikarian alike, came out an attacked. Nilus swung out his sword and began slicing his way forward. A bullet hit his unprotected shoulder and he yelped in pain, but only for a moment. In war, there was no room for weakness.

Liben suited up and entered the hallways. Nilus was a ways away, so he didn't have to worry about a battle yet. Troops saluted as he walked by. He had to kill Nilus and his men before they came too far.

"Well then...." Riley said. Annoyed that the executive seemed to think he was leading the EMPEROR. "Thank you for walking me around the city, but I must be leaving, you know, rebuilding, a colony, stuff like that." He finished. The Rybonian slave gave a grunt.

The Executive's eyes narrowed.

"Of course." He said. He pointed over to a nearby dock where the Emperor's Ship was stationed. "Your ship is right over there. I trust you can make the journey?'' With that, the Executive walked away, back towards the building which the Rylonian Emperor and his slave had just left.

The battle lasted three days. Liben was jailed, and sent back to Norcius. Leevin 3 was abandoned, and orbital docks kept ships from approaching as the base was destroyed.

The casualties of the final battle were high for both the rebels and the loyalists. The surface of the planet following the battle was a scarred remainder of its former self.

Destroyed buildings, vehicles, dead bodies, and atleast two ruined cities littered the various points of battle on the planet.

After the three days of continuos struggle for dominance and survival, the rebels were finally pushed back into a bunker, their numbers seriously decreased. The bunker was weakened by a final bombing run, which was followed by a charge of troops into the bunker, the soldiers of which surrounded the survivors. While the Xikarians took prisoner their rebels, only the leader of the Jorro'kil renegades and a few of his executives were kept alive for questioning and life imprisonment in a highly guarded facility, while the rest were shot dead on the spot.

After the conflict was ended, General Kaenek attended a memorial service held a week later on one of the charred battlefields, for all the soldiers who fought and died in the last great battle. And so ends the last chapter of the Mirror War........

(I'm just going to skip what happened on the planet.)

After the incident on the artificial planet, Ravage left, wondering how much time had passed. The planet didn't have a true sense of time, and it was confusing. She already had Celena in tow, and now she had Samir, possibly the only other surviving member of her race, to look after as well. Her solo mission to defeat the Dominion and the Karthla was becoming difficult, and she was finally wondering, if maybe she should continue to seek their destruction. But where could she go? Krylon had been destroyed by Karthla, and all other Chimerosu worlds were polluted to the point where landing on them would turn her and her companions into Karthla.

That was the whole tradgedy of it all. She had nowhere to go. It was possible she could go serve the Jorro'kil, but would they let her, when she was a vigilante? Would they be willing to accept three people that didn't follow the same customs and beliefs? Would they even consider accepting three people who weren't Jorro'kil? Ravage considered it, but there were things weighing against her. Her mysterious biology, altered by the bullet of a dominion soldier, was a scientific phenomenon. She didn't want to be poked and prodded, and she didn't want the same for Celena.

She stifled the urge to growl, and set her Stealth Strider's course to the Third Arm Confederacy, hoping that she did not once more repeat crashing into a ship.

Just nearby Ravage's ship was a Dranzoot patroller scouting the space of the TAC zone. Not far was a military base and not far from that was a colony. The scout inside was named Dagor Alrez, a fighter.

He spotted the ship and sent a transmition.

"Alien ship, identify yourself" he spoke into the COM device hoping for a peaceful responce. He wasn't in the mood for a hijacked ship being used by Karthla, then they summon a million Pod Fighters from hyperspace and attack him. How he hated Karthla. He hoped this wasn't a hostile force.

Ravage jumped. Once more, she had forgotten to activate the stealth setting. The alien ship could see her. She tapped on her Com. link to send a transmission, "This is Ravage," She said. By this point, her throat wasn't scarred up or damaged, so her voice had once more regained it's birdsong quality. She paused, before leaning into the Com. again, "-formerly from the Chimerosu Empire. I have two others with me. We come in peace." She said. She knew the 'we come in peace' line was a cliche, but that was basically the best way to explain what she was doing there in the outermost reaches of the galaxy.

Dagor replied. "Very well, move to your destination, but you will be watched by high orders of the Confederacy" he said pressing a few buttons and calling a few more scouts just in case.

"Actually, sir," Ravage said, "We are here seeking to assist in the war efforts against the Dominion. As there are only three of us, we have relatively little to offer in military support or trade, but I was formerly a Lieutenant, and we wish to help fight this war under the Jorro'kil. However, we aren't quite sure how to go about it, as the three of us are different species." She swallowed, and looked over her shoulder at Celena, who was standing behind her, silent. "Celena, anything you wish to add?" The Summonagon nodded. Ravage turned back to the Com. Link, "We have a member of the Summonagon race, who wishes to speak with you." She stepped away from the Com, and Celena began to speak, "Uh...Hi...." She started, "I would just like to say, I'm an important member of my race, and Ravage says that if I asked, they might help with the war effort, if...uh...we can get help with spaceships...we can...uh...breathe fire, and stuff..." Ravage cut her off, "Okay, then, Celena, that's enough." Celena wasn't much of a talker. "In a nutshell, we would like to know if there is anyone we can speak with." Ravage said.

Then, in a flash of light, two Jorro'kil scout ships materialized into view infront of Ravage's ship, following Dagor Alrez's transmissions alerts which they had very recently recieved.

One of them opened a COMM with Ravage's ship.

"This is Jorro'kil Commander Zxech, please identify yourself. We have been alerted of your prescence by pilot...Dagor Alrez." the Commander said.

Ravage sighed. It looked like she would have to repeat herself. Knowing the Jorro'kil, she would have to sound more official. She tapped the Com. Link. "This is Ravage, formerly of the Chimerosu Empire." She felt like she was repeating herself, "I have with me three others, another Chimerosu, named Samir, and Celena, a member of the Summonagon regarded with great reverence among her people." She continued, "We have come here in hopes that we may serve the Jorro'kil in the war effort. We also have news of a potential ally-" Samir cut her off, "Two potential allies, actually..."

Ravage glanced in his direction, "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Samir's beak turned slightly purple, "Well, the race I'm talking about is incredibly advanced, well past that of other empires. They're as old as the Grox were, maybe even older. They don't usually like getting involved with other races, so I wasn't sure-" Ravage cut him off this time, "So, okay, two potential allies." She said, turning back to the Com. "We wish to speak with someone about these matters."

"This is Ravage, formerly of the Chimerosu Empire. I have with me three others, another Chimerosu, named Samir, and Celena, a member of the Summonagon regarded with great reverence among her people. We have come here in hopes that we may serve the Jorro'kil in the war effort. We also have news of a potential ally- Two potential allies, actually..."


Zxech was surprised by what he heard.


Chimerosu? How could that be? They were destroyed, all of them. The Dominion annihilated their worlds. The Jorro'kil tried to help but the attack fleet struck fast and overwhelmed the Chimerosu before they could fight back.....

Suddenly this conversation became very important.

Zxech opened the COM, and replied.

"....Officer, Ravage, you say you are a survivor of the Chimerosu? and you have another with you? It is very important that you come with me. I will send you coordinates to one of our colonies, I will announce your arrival." He then closed the COM to ravage's ship, and opened up one to Dagor's.

"Pilot Dagor, do you know the urgency of the survival of the passengers of that ship? Did the commander not tell you she and another were Chimerosu? The Chimerosu died in a fire started by the Dominion, they should no longer exist. Why did you not tell us that they were Chimerosu when you called for a scout ship?"

Ravage sighed and took the controls of her ship, beginning to pilot it towards the coordinates that were given. She might as well accept the reality that she would probably wind up as some sort of super-soldier. She had left out that one of the two members of her surviving race was mutated. Certainly, male and female Chimerosu looked different, but it wasn't so dramatic that the females had sharp teeth, or thicker, stronger horns, or claws, either on their hands or stored in their forearms, of extra bony nubs on their skulls. Really, Ravage was intimidating in appearance, and her feathers, a shade of blue so dark they were almost black, made her all the more terrifying. Samir might actually have been the only pure member left of her race. Celena? Well, she was an albino.

Zxech's ship left its current position, and entered into a slipspace portal towards the coordinates which Zxech had given Ravage. While traveling through slipspace, Zxech pondered the recent events. Two Chimerosu, alive. Perhaps the Chimerosu could live again, as an empire. He was sure his people would give help to Ravage and her companions.

When he arrived at the coordinates of a Colony that was bustling with activity, he sent a message to the Governer of the planet. Zxech hoped he had arrived well before Ravage would.

Since news spread quickly on this planet, Ravage and her crew would have to be transported inside the governing colony's executive hall in privacy.

Ravage had soon arrived at the planet, and docked in one of the available ports. Her ship became more visible as she turned off the cloaking, which revealed the Stealth Strider's sleek black hull and bright blue viewing port, which appeared to be made of a sort of crystal, through which the pilot could see, but those on the outside could not. Chimerosu technology was always a secret. That was why they were capable of making fast models that could move without detection, and then come in fast for a terrifying kamikaze attack that devastated enemies. That was exactly the kind of ship Ravage piloted.

The area around her ship seemed to be free of civilians, and she guessed that she had been given some sort of clearance for safety reasons. It wasn't every day two of a species thought to be extinct, as well as one from an unknown race, arrived in a port full of people. She opened a hatch in the side and stepped out of the ship, glancing about the area to ensure that there were not any hidden threats. After her came Samir, and the differences between the two were obvious. She was bigger than Samir, and then there were her dark feathers, and the mutations. Then the ship rocked a bit as Celena tried to squeeze through the hatch. She eventually succeeded, and was standing behind them. Gigantic and the size of what might have been a small Epic creature, Celena was terrifying. Unlike the rest of her race, she was white, and her eyes were pink, a definite sign of her being an albino. This did not even include the sharp teeth, claws, large wings, and the power to breathe fire.

Ravage showed no emotion, but inside, she laughed a bit. The trio was quite a sight for anyone to see. If it weren't for the clearance, they probably wouldn't have attracted any less attention if they were a pink sniffer hound riding a purple Epic Grubblon with green polka-dots and silver wings.

Seemingly out of nowhere, several Jorro'kil approached the trio.

One was wearing a white suit, with blue laces on its shoulders and dark blue cuffs on the end of the suit's arms and legs.

The Jorro'kil standing next to it was an officer, with its Red Power Armor gently glowing. The five other Jorro'kil were UCU, or Urban Combat Units, walking behind the officer and the Jorro'kil in the white suit, the latter walking right up to Ravage, undaunted by the strange appearance of the three, or even Celena's monstrous size. The others were much the same.

"You are...Officer Ravage?" He asked. He then turned his head slightly to Samir and Celena. "And companions?"

Ravage dipped her beak, meanwhile, a bit of her former self was screaming in her head something about 'disrespect'. Officer?! What are you? Police? You haven't been called an Officer in years! You're a Lieutenant! Come on! You weren't demoted! Ravage decided not to let the whirling thought show. "I am, but before the destruction of the Empire, I was known by the rank of Lieutenant." She said calmly. It was considered in most armies to be lacking in respect if one did not address you by rank. It made her think back to when she had been in basic training. Ten whole weeks. Ten whole weeks with the drill sergeant yelling in her face because she forgot to address him by rank. Even after the training was over, she had shuddered when she ran into a superior officer, for fear of receiving the same treatment. Basic Training, oh, yes: The place where they broke you down, and built you up to be what the military wanted you to become.

"This is Samir," She continued, gesturing to the more normal-looking Chimerosu behind her, "-and this is Celena." She said, gesturing to the Summonagon.

"I apologize, but I was unaware of your rank and your armor's insignia is unreadable." (Sorry, slight OP)
Said the Jorro'kil in the white suit.

"If you, Celena and Samir would follow us, we can take you to the Main Hall of the city via a shuttle."

Ravage nodded, "Very well. As for my armor, how it has come to be in such a state is a long story, I'm afraid." With this, they began to follow the Jorro'kil. Ravage, all the while, couldn't help but wonder what second race Samir was talking about. From what he had said, they were probably even older than the Grox. If that was the case, then perhaps the Dominion's defeat would soon be at hand. But then again, he had said they weren't very friendly. Ravage could not help but wonder what they looked like.
