That's kind of unlikely, I post practically every day.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
Alright, go ahead, I'll have Vey send a message out that the Lirr, Rakluth, and the two Jorro'kil delegates meet everybody in the library (it's about to get crowded in there).

Yep, and everyone has just explained the problem in a nutshell. Vey can probably do it, this time, I've typed the same thing twice.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
Before I post, a quick question -
Vipera, do you think a Krathunian such as Rakluth would know what the Chimersou are? I'm only putting this into consideration due to the fact that both were rather powerful civilizations until the rise of Kradus and the Karthla, when both supposedly fell to the Dominion. I just want to know if there would be any possible connection between the two empires before Rakluth enters the room so I can appropriately adjust what he will say.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
Chances are that he might have small amounts of historical knowledge, but that's highly unlikely. The Chimerosu Empire was isolated for an extremely long time, and before they entered isolation, they created a powerful virus that they unleashed in the galaxy. The virus deleted all information that wasn't written in books and scrolls about their existence, and they haven't had contact for thousands of years with outside races. It's unlikely they'll know any old history. The most they ever did was trade with people in the Third Arm Confederacy.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
As soon as the current meeting has finished I feel that it may be a good idea to split off into the two subplots before the planned battle with a certain emperor. I'm going to have Rakluth go to the ruins after and start the Continuum Corruptor subplot. I'm going to wait until after the current meeting to decide what to do with my characters in regards to the virus/Arachnarche plot.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
It shouldn't be too difficult to split the plots, especially if the locations linked to them are in completely separate places. People can be aware of conflict but participate in a different one somewhere else.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
Posted. I think we should wrap up the meeting in the IC, soon, so we can get on with our plots. Please note that spider silk over ten times stronger than Kevlar is no myth, there's really a species that produces silk that strong.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
I added UFIAI territory to the galaxy map as it currently is. I also tried to make it apparent where UFIAI is spreading their territory, and where the frontline of the conflict with Confederacy is. While UFIAI territory is significantly smaller than Confederacy's, the AI's use the space more efficiently, completely exploiting each planet's and asteroid's resources. Also if something needs changing, say and I'll change it.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
They could easily make more use of space than organic races. There's not really that many inhabitable worlds in the galaxy that could support life. Machines don't have to have food, and as long as they're built properly they can exist on worlds with bad weather or temperatures. They could overlap another territory and if they were peaceful nobody would care, because they're living on worlds others can't survive on, anyway.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
It is. It would probably be best if we could get the meeting done as soon as possible so we can get on with the new plots - I personally have a couple... surprises in mind.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
So, I'm wondering about which quest to send Xerin on. I know Hezek will be returning to Jorro'kil territory but Xerin is gonna choose between the Hive quest and the Krathunian's quest....
And how does everyone feel about me locking the inactive RPs?

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
I don't have much of a say, as I am not a participant in the inactive ones. As for where Xerin goes, I'm not sure what the Krathunian quest will be like, but as for the Arachnarche/Chimerosu discovery mission, I can tell you a bit about what it'll be like so you can decide what plot you'd like.
In the Chimerosu/Arachnarche plot, I've designed it so that it won't just be fighting battles all the time, and the battles that do occur will have meaning to them, and I will end them before they start to drag on and get boring, trust me, I've sometimes grown to dislike battles because people make them too drawn-out. In essence the plot is more about meeting the characters and exploring them as people. There will not just be fighting insects and searching for a queen, there will be also be encounters with new cultures (Spoiler, there will be new Chimerosu species discovered, I have already designed a few), and exploration of long-abandoned outposts. I imagine it as a kind of a fusion of epic adventure stories mixed with star-wars. You have plenty of action, but the thing that makes the plot interesting is that all the creatures that appear will be viewed as more than just enemies. I plan to develop little individual personalities and mannerisms among the Arachnarche, too (Also, there's a little surprise that's going to hatch from an egg very soon, that will quickly become an enemy to both parties.)

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
If you would like to, go ahead. There's a reason they're inactive.
As for the Krathunian plot, I don't need very many participants in it (As of now I'm including the Admiral, Sentinel Theranis, a Wreae, Zizo Tai, whoever the Markovans choose (was unclear if it was Lirr or not), and one other character who will be a bit of a surprise). There's room for more but it's not necessary, though the plot is crucial to what's going to happen soon in the Disruption. Like Vipera's, there will be a couple fights that do have meaning to them. It's much about exploring a part of Ruthless Galaxy that I've been finding to be somewhat inconsistent at times and has taken a lesser role in favor of bigger guns and explosions during battle. This is culture and history. Much of the Krathunian culture will be demonstrated, as well as their history. There will obviously be character development as well. In all I'm going to have this lead up to a couple things - 1. What we have planned in the chatbox with the Mondarians and the like, and 2. A new type of enemy along with the introduction of a new ally.

Alright. If anybody wants to hop on the Krathunian plot, there will be a specified time that you will be able to in the middle of it (I will post here).

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
I was going to have Admiral Lirr and Zizo Tai go with the Krathunians, along with a Vatarri who is Zizo's apprentice/helper.
EDIT: I'll post this evening.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
It's fine. Okay, I have just revealed that Travis acts like a little kid when he's getting ready to take off into deep space. He's basically forcing everyone to get on the ship or get left behind.

Re: The Disruption (OOC)
@Zaroas I was just reading your post and I noticed that the part about Svar (did I get that right?) seems a little behind. They are actually on the ship Majesty right now, and Vey isn't actually there anymore. He's still on Vathoris. It was actually Aarin speaking, unless you meant for your post to be taking place before then.
