The exploding frigate destroyed the Infernos's destruction maw, critically damaged the restriction claws and weakened the whole ships armour. The black exterior of the ship was now cracked and dented. Another attack like that would completely destroy the ship. Edwande wasnt going to abandon his ship, however. He would die alongside his child. He would sink with his baby. He would take down his enemy with him. The warp drive and teleporters where damaged in the blast. So he didn't really have a choice.

"Sent all the drones to planet side. A frigates are to open fire on any non-KGI ship. Begin bombarding the planet. The dominion will die with us and the jorro'kil will be buried!" hundreds of missiles and plasma bombs fell towards the planet. Millions of dropships flew down to necroterra. Even a few Manaclaws went into the atmosphere. "Ready the dark matter cannon! Fire on all jorro'kil ships!" with that, three balls of dark blue energy flew from the cannon on the underside of the infernos. Each shot obliterated a jorro'kil cruiser or dominion ship. But all around, Manaclaw frigates where burning. The attack would kill Edwande. He would die here. The infernos would fall. But, Emperor Scrylis wouldn't have sent everyone. He was in the process of leaving this galaxy. The kar'geualiea would rise. And you can't rise from a summit, only an abyss.

Meanwhile,

Leading the drones on the ground was a KGI assassin droid. It watched as millions of dropships swarmed the planet and hundreds of dragon-like raven drones flew above the battlefield and Rained down burning lasers. Two ravens landed among the Drudgers and spiders. Now was the time for their major attack. The Drudgers stopped firing and the ravens began to circle around them. The assassin raised it's arm and gave the order.

"Fire!" it roared in a horrifically deep voice. The Drudgers had formed a ring and each one fired a missile outwards. The ravens began to fire their lasers in an ever increasing ring if fire. "Again!" the assassin roared and more missiles flew. Then the dropships landed. The ground force was doubled. "Destroy the enemy!" the assassin roared as new drones filed out of the dropships.

The Jorro'kil forces were beginning to thin, sperad across multiple fronts and stressed more with the arrival of the KGI groundtroops. While their retaliation took hundreds, or even thousands of numbers, their were more drones. The tactical situation looked grim, and the Commander of the infantry battling with the Kar'geualiea realizded they would soon be flanked from all sides. He had to get as many of his troops out of their as possible. An order was sent out over the COM in an encrypted channel that all troops were to fall back behind the tanks, and make haste to exit the conflict ASAP. The tanks started to fire their dual-barreled cannons more rapidly now, covering the exit for the JL Infantry. Still many of the troops fell, but more made it to the realtive safety of the tanks. Suddenly, however, dozens of Xikarian dropships started landing and unloading troops. The force was enough to rival the Jorro'kil prescence on the crystal planet. They combined forces, and with renewed vigor the Jorro'kil slowly advanced on the battlefield form which they had earlier retreated.

Meanwhile....

The Jorro'kil ships were fighting hard. Many revieced critical failures as a result of too much damage. Escape pods joined the flurry of fighters and dropships filling the surrounding space like insects.

The Emperor's Super Destroyer fired several charges into the Inferno with it's Ultra-Heavy GPC. The stand-in commander was hoping that if the Inferno was destroyed the whole KGI fleet would lose cohesion, making them that much easier to pick off.

The Disruption (IC) - Page 13 Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

Suddenly, large shadows began to cover part of the battlefield. The Zepplins have arrived. Thick, metallic ropes screeches as they fell from the ship and collided with the ground. Countless soldiers on the ship took the chance to put on protective cloves and safely slide down, before setting up their weapons and joining the battle on the side of the Jorro'kil. The twelve zepplins all released thousands of soldiers, enough of a force to rival the Jorro'kil in the area if they ever fought again. No general was there to command them on the ground itself: their only orders were to join the Jorro'kil and eliminate the enemy.
----------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, the battleships glided in the sky, looking for a possible target. That was when the giant KGI ship caught one of their attention. The other ships learned quickly, and they began the assault.
----------------------------------------------
However, the battleships were too far away. "K-Kaskada! A large ship is coming our way! It's almost as big as us!" Kaskada took a brave stance. "Show me!" The ship was surely humungus, ang it almost looked like it had a mouth. She froze as she realized that it was a mouth. The ship devoured a small Jorro'kil pod in front of them. Now it looked like it was after them. The ship wouldn't be able to eat the Blossomed Nebula, but the head alone would cause tremendous damage. "Turn the ship around and fight them head on!" Kaskada ordered. Someone asked, "Should I charge up the Sunbeam?" Hesitating, Kaskada replied: "No. Nut unless desperate. But turn on the turrets and release the manned pods! We will not be destroyed tonight!"

The Disruption (IC) - Page 13 Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

A large ship appeared at the system as it disengaged it's warp field and engaged it's conventional engines. It huge, but alone, and was unarmed. One third of the ship was taken by huge engines and warp field generators, while rest of the ship consisted of three long beams that looked a bit like some kind of claw.

The ship ceased it's movement just outside the range of closest ship's weapons. After coming to full stop, the three beams of the ship started to open. They opened until each was vertically against the hull's direction. Draining almost all energy from it's generator and reserves, it shot a bright ray from the tip of each beam. These Rays met in the middle, creating bright flash that blocked the vision at the ship for a short time.

Flash went away, but left behing a wormhole, formed between the three beams. Almost immediately a ship began to come through the wormhole, covering hundreds of light-years at instant. However, this wasn't any ship, but instead one of the ships carrying the Gaze Of God-system. This particular ship was named as Sekhmet, and was controlled by AIS with a name Keeper.

Sekhmet flew majestically through the wormhole, it's black, triangular hull only barely fitting through. The ship was so immensely large, that even the Absolute's flagship Nuntius was just half of Sekhmet's length. Following the Sekhmet came large numbers of mixed ships from cruisers to frigates. Sekhmet started to circle around the planet a bit, to get a clear shot without risking for hitting the planet.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Absolute's ships had taken some damage, although they never were a main target for anyone. One of Absolutes frigates had took a critical hit from KGI ship's batteries, and was now falling through the Planet's atmosphere, spewing plasma from the deep cracks on it's hull. The Nuntius had been saved from the harms way, thanks to it's position away from the main battle. From there it picked off targets of opportunity with it's large rail cannon.

The KGI's bombardment was some bad news for Absolute too, as it endangered the both orbs. Suddenly Absolutes every Air unit at the area, including drop-ships, gunships, fighters and etc. took a direction towards the plasma bombs and missiles crushing through the atmosphere. Fighters started to systematically eliminate the missiles, while larger ships just crashed themselves against the plasma bombs to make them detonate prematurely. The already pulsing sky was filled with flashes and smoke, as the Absolutes troops blocked the bombardment from arriving the surface.

Edwande stared at Sekhmet. It was huge. So huge. Thr KGI where known for having huge fleets and massive dreadnoughts, but they'd never even contemplated building something like that. The infernos transmitted an image of the Sekhmet to KGI high command. Scrylis needed to see that. Sekhmet was a third larger than the infernos, but that was enough to worry it's crew. If they where to one day return to this galaxy, they would need to be able to fight that. They needed something new. Edwande dropped his sword and blaster.

Hundreds of plasma balls flew from the infernos towards the enemy fleets. This was why the KGI where not dominant. No matter how far they grew, they where alone in the universe.

Absolute's air forces were thinning rapidly, and it wouldn't be long before the Bombardment would cut them out and start grinding the surface. Luckily the Sekhmet was in position, having a clear shot through the KGI fleet bombarding the planet. Clear in this case meant that there were no danger hitting the planet, as there were numerous ships from all factions in the way, even some ships from Absolute's fleet.

Keeper made some final adjustments to Sekhmet's aim, and opened the wormhole inside the jet-black ship's belly. Plasma with a temperature around 80 000 000 Kelvins started to flow from the Wormholes other end, a hyper giant star's core, to the insides of Sekhmet with incredible force and speed. Powerful magnets directed the plasma to a barrel, where it was accelerated more and put to circulating movement to make it more coherent. Finally the stream came out from the front of the ship flying almost at the speed of light.

The stream was clearly visible from the surface of the planet, being brighter than full moon, crawling across the sky towards the KGI fleet bombarding the planet. Keeper closed the Seckhmet's wormhole again, cutting the stream to a "pulse". The "kill zone" of the stream was about one mile, and inside ten miles ships would suffer considerable electro-magnetic and radiation damage.

Calbus was among many of the dropships that were rapidly dropping off hordes of Varmal into the battle. He would soon fight alongside the Dominion for favor.

Kradus heard Whoster approach from behind him. He turned around to find him climbing from the stairs.

"So I assume this is it" said Kradus.

"Yes." Whoster replied. He slowly climbed the stairs, edging ever-nearer to Kradus. ashes and sparks crackled around the edge of platform. One wrong step could send you over the edge into the white-hot molten abyss.

"Shall we begin?" Whoster asked, his forearms turned out to either side. His power armor lit up, an energy shield, stronger than a normal one which coated its wearer in several layers of protective energy, Colloquially known as an Overshield.

"I assume you bear some foreknowledge of these events, your attitude as ever, betrays you." Whoster said. "But no matter the outcome, you will be stopped." He raised his right arm, which, on the forearms section of the armor, had attached a small Railgun like "barrel." When fired it would launch an electromagneticly charged shot which would disable almost any sort of personal shielding, but the shot had to be lined up perfectly. The recoil of the weapon would be dampened for Emperor Whoster, due to the multiple layers of protective cushioning and a very thin layer of specialized gel.

The energy in the Railgun began to charge, its "barrel" pointed as Kradus.

Kradus stood motionless. "You make me laugh" he said quietly. Two large sets of laser outlined and cored blades shot out from his sides. The sides were lined with red glowing plasma that would cut through a rock as if it were made of rubber.

The red orb was absorbed in a large circular container on his chest, his armor glowed red all throughout the cracks and tubes. Kradus's scarlet eyes gave a bloodily evil gaze at Whoster. Two large blasters emerged from his arms and cased themselves atop the holsters on Kradus's wrist that attached to the blades.

Kradus licked his reptile lips and looked forward. He seemed completely drained of all worry. "Let it begin"

If one looked up and noticed the Xikarian airships in the sky, they might have been terrified. On the ground, in their shadows, two Xikelic armies split up and immediately took advantage of the situation. The warriors, with their terrible electric swords, easily sliced through any competition. The snipers took their position behind the lines and took out the harder-to-kill enemies.

Zigwin stopped his squad and yelled, "Find the remainder of the Jorro'kil forces!" He took a moment to stab a soldier that got too close. He continued, "Regroup them! Keep them fighting until their reinforces arrive!"

The Disruption (IC) - Page 13 Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

The lead assassin drone strode towards a mass of jorro'kil troopers. It flicked its wrist and a wide, curved energy blade extended from it. The drone flicked its other wrist and the hand rolled away. A large, automatic energy rifle rolled into place. The drone stood at three feet above the jorro'kil enemy. It stared into their eyes, analysing the signs of fear. Any average soldier would fear the kgi's most versatile drone. They raised their weapons and fired weak bursts.

The drone reached the troopers, barely scratched by the enemy fire. It take heavy weaponry to take down most KGI drones, and the assassin was no exception. The mechanical masterpiece towered above the jorro'kil drones, it's glowing cyan optics examining them in replicated curiosity. After a second, the jorro'kil stopped firing at it, some even ran. The drone raised its automatic plasma spiker and fired three shots in quick succession. Three troopers fell as the drone swiped its blade across the troopers nearest to it, penetrating the shields and fatally wounding the targets. They began to return fire but the drone just tilted its head. Three seconds past before it returned fire, mowing down a dozen troopers. A berserker ran at the assassin, but he was instantly sliced in half. The assassin went through, dismembering soldiers as it went. Every now and then, it would devastate the soldiers reinforcements with a blast of plasma fire.

The drone reached down and picked up a trooper by the throat. It stared at the quivering soldier and threw it towards the temple, where Kradus and Whoster where facing off.

Emperor Whoster gave a slight smile, and fired his Railgun, the shot ran screaming towards Kradus......while Emperor Whoster leaped into action, pulling out a Plasmetic combat knife, running towards the Dominion's leader.

____________________________________________________________________________

Meanwhile.....

As the KGI Assassin Drone rampaged through the lines of Jorro'kil soldiers, one soldier, a Stealth unit, activated his active camouflage. Using crystals and piles of dead as cover, he darted from place to place, eventually circling around to the back of the Assassin drone, until he was right behind the menacing droid. With a swift and elegant motion, his Energy Blade flashed to life as he leaped into the air, and jammed the blades into the back of the Assassin Drone. Heavy Units with Miniguns advanced to take advantage of the situation, and heavily peppered the Drone with Plasmetic bullets.

The Disruption (IC) - Page 13 Empty Return of the Federation

Post by Zaroas Sat Jan 26, 2013 7:04 pm

"I was thinking about a military alliance of sorts," Chief General Barborin stated. "You scratch our back, we scratch yours. If you get into any kind of militaristic trouble, contact us and we'll help you out. However, you have to follow through the other way around. We could also trade and study the technology of each other."

The Diplomat smiled slightly. "Similar to what I had in mind, That would be a good agreement. So, let us discuss the terms of this Military Alliance." Said the Diplomat.

"We have made alliances like this several times in the past, however I wish to discuss the limitations and allowances. I believe we, the Jorro'kil would be most comfortable only trading small arms at first, as you, as must we, earn the trust of each other. The proposition of help in any Military skirmish from either race is indeed what I would have had in mind for a Military Alliance." Said the Diplomat.

The Chief General clasped his hands on his tough, exoskeletal chest and bowed, a sign of honor and agreement in Ryun culture. He looked up as the diplomat dipped his beak. "Then, we shall officially enact this alliance. Thank you, Jorro'kil, for this. This is a great gift to our Federation, and some day, we shall repay you."

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Chief General Barborin of the Ryun-Wreae Federation reflected on these words as he stared at a display of star systems from the inside of the Wrath Class Dreadnought. The warp drive was activated, so the ship was going extremely quickly through space. What Barborin was staring intently at showed which coordinates they were currently at, the surrounding systems, and their destination. He turned around, observing a control center from within the ship. Holograms displayed the states of the weapon, shield, armor, and generator systems, as well as numerous other statistics and percentages. At the center of the room there was a large hologram projector that showed a large number of ships and their designations. These were the Ryun-Wreae Federation 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fleets - A portion of their main force that had come directly from Ieegar itself.

The Jorro'Kil had given them a great gift in the form of a military alliance. During the time after this agreement, they exchanged technologies and systems, both becoming stronger. However, the Federation had been unable to fully repay the JL for their favor. After receiving several distress signals from a particular system, the Grand Council had decided that time was now.
It was time to repay them.

The Dreadnought slowed and soon disengaged warp drive. It had come into full view of the crystalline planet and the battle raging above and below it. Soon, the fleets had also disengaged, and a massive force of the Federation was visible. They had come in next to the Jorro'Kil ships, which seemed to be at a deadlock with the enemy forces. The Chief General ordered the fleet into formation before activating the communications system.

"Your reinforcements have arrived, Jorro'kil." He announced with a tone of fulfillment and smugness.

Soon, their ships were in configuration. the Guardian class Corvettes surrounded Destroyers, Cruisers, Assault Cruisers, Carriers, and more while Dreadnoughts sat behind these, protected by the weaker ships, and dealt heavy damage to the enemy forces from a range while ordering the others. Starfighters, Warships, and other Corvettes had engaged in more mobile combat, being closer to the enemies. Shadow class Corvettes had also started launching electromagnetic pulses and jamming enemy communications/electronics. Meanwhile, dropships started bringing troops and vehicles to the ground. Capsules with Wreae and Ryun ground troops collided with the ground, starting to aid their allies, while huge mechs and tanks as well as aerial vehicles were starting to mobilize.

One of the drop capsules landed near mass of Jorro'Kil that were being assaulted by a couple drones. Ryun and Wreae both sprinted out, and the sight of them seemed to confuse the KGI and encourage the JL forces. They fought with a new courage as their new allies arrived. One of the drones darted towards them menacingly. A Wreae mech ran forward confidently, with specially made armor and limb installations that seemed to make it especially powerful in terms of strength and agility. The Wreae unit known as a Shock Trooper leapt forward and grabbed the KGI drone, tackling and pinning it to the ground. The robot then activated a program, allowing an electric monomolecular blade to extend out in place of its hand and a particle hand cannon below its other one. It then slashed and shot at its target while it struggled to get out of its mechanical grip, greatly weakening it, before it leapt back and some of the other units sprayed it with plasma and targeted it with their pulse rifles. They then surged forward to help the Jorro'Kil. Their arrival was a surprise to enemy troops, and they were relatively unknown in battle - Something they could use to their advantage.

Kradus used his plasmatic blades to disassemble the blast before it hit him. Slashing it with the energy, the bolt exploded. He ran up to Emperor Whoster and leapt into the air, when he came down he began to slash and claw at Whoster, he was ready for a fight.

This would be the last time he would ever have to see Whoster, or so he thought. He was confident that he would destroy the leader of the Confederacy. It was only logical in his mind that he would soon have victory. He imagined the Confederacy as a mere ant before his clawed feet.

Emperor Whoster's Energy Knife extended into a long and deadly blade. He blocked Kradus's attacks, and gave a quick retreat to several paces backward.

"You fool, you must not realize what I have at my disposal." Emperor Whoster armor lit up, glowing an increasingly bright blue. He aimed his arms straightforward in Kradus's direction, and a beam of energy shot out from his armor, blasting into Kradus. The air around the beam sizzled.

____________________________________________________________________________

Commander Kaa'lt was surprised at this sudden arrival. They had been trading with the Ryun-Wreae for months now, but he wasn't expecting a fleet of this size to arrive. This was good, very good. The Dominion shall be overwhelmed.

Kaa'lt observed the battle from the Super Destroyer's bridge. Screans flashed proximity signals, a rough map of the surrounding area of conflict, among many other things. He turned to his left, where a screen and a COMMs system stood. He typed in a code to encrypt the message he was about to send to the Lead ship of the fleet, an RWF Dreadnaught. The hull shuddered as explosions littered the space around the Super-Destroyer. Fighters sped past the front viewscreen Reports came in as crewman informed crewman. A fluid motion and stability is key to keeping a ship ontop of situations such as these. Ships were broken in two, falling down from the battle. The Super Destroyer's Sunbeam, modified from the Xikarian's original model, fired a deadly beam of orange-red energy, which blew a clean hole in a Varmal cruiser.

Kaa'lt ignored the close-to-death events which were going on all around them The RWF's fleet made the space all the more crowded. "But confusing the enemy is all the more a tactical advantage." Thought Kaa'lt. His message to the Ryun-Wreae's Dreadnaught:

"I see you've come to join the party, there's plenty of action. An event like this and you'd think it was a celebration just for me." Kaa'lt said, sarcastically. "Your appearance is most welcome, a few more minutes and I think things might have started to get a little boring. I'll send you a report of the battle's events." He ended the transmission, and attached to it a report of the happenings of the conflict since the Jorro'kil's arrival. Several Jorro'kil ships fell back to align themselves with the Ryun-Wreae's ships to share an organized firing solution to maximize enemy elimination.

____________________________________________________________________________

Meanwhile.....

On the ground, Jorro'kil troops fought with renewed vigor at the arrival of their allies against the KGI and Dominion. They uttered war cries, and began an advance across the multiple fields of battle.

Never had such an appearance of numbers made had the Dominion than now. As if their whole force was devoted to this location. Perhaps not surprising, as their master was here. Karthla swarmed over parts of battles already fought, collecting bodies to swell their ranks.

Emperor Scrylis stood on the observation deck of the galaxy drainer. He watched as millions upon millions of drones where being designed, refined and mass produced. There had been an explosion of aquatic drone types, due to the nature of operation Exodus. They would need as many drones for each environment as they could get. Hordes of mechanical monstrosities stood, deactivated, while they where loaded aboard the thousands of war ships, about to depart for the new world. The force present at edwandes little skirmish was, albeit large, but insignificant compared to the armada at the emperors command. Although, the flagship was an issue. The plans for the new one had been submitted, but it would be nice to have the infernos as a backup. The 'Insidious' would be a masterpiece, yes, but the time it would take to build, though shortened by the KGI's manufacturing, was immense. At least five years in total, and the designs where only half done.

Scrylis activated his communicator.
"Prepare the weapon. We leave as soon as possible." He turned back, cape fluttering in the breeze. Kar wore armour constantly. You never know when you'll be attacked in their society. The colour of the cape is the only way to determine rank. Scrylis left the observation deck, howls of the freshly activated leviathan drones behind him.

Kradus took the hit but was only phased a little. "You've got to be joking" he said and his armor lit up red and black, almost blinding a few pieces. His red reptile eyes reflected the scarlet glow in a most evil and shadowing way. "Do you realize what a small threat you pose to me now? I have the source I have desired all this time. I remember the entire Skorge dilemma, if I would have known that one was on Necroterra, I never would have wasted my time with that pathetic swampy heap of mud!" he said. He held one of his blades out and red beam shot from it and aimed for Whoster's chest.

Chief General Barborin chuckled at Commander Kaa'lt's remarks. "Thank you, Commander. We recovered distress signals from both sides from this planet, and knew it could have only been one thing - The Dominion. We mobilized the fleets as quickly as we could." He turned away from the communications system, striding towards a part of the command center that controlled the weaponry system for the Judgement class Dreadnought. "It's time to show our allies a weapon of our own, considering what they just used to tear that cruiser apart." Going back to the system, Barborin stated, "It is only matter of time before our forces overwhelm the enemy. Let us speed up that process with this."

Deep within the ship, nuclear fusion generators, the radiation of which the Ryun and Wreae were able to stand due to their anatomy, activated. The generators were separate from the large plasma engines that powered the Dreadnought and the rest of the fleet, and were designed for one purpose. Other ships in the fleets were notified of this and flew out of the way of the centre of the huge ship.. The Dreadnought was barraged by enemy fire, but its kinetic shields and armor were able to withstand it well.

Barborin muttered a single word - "Fire." Suddenly, a part of the ship's hull activated as a massive particle weapon was activated, firing a beam of dense particles and energy generated by the nuclear fusion. It tore through several of the Manaclaw frigates that swarmed in a tightly knit pack, evidently making the other ones retreat. The ships went into configuration once more - The Jorro'kil and Ryun-Wreae forces were making an effort to win, and it was showing.

The infernos roared in pain. It's hull was shattered, it's prow blown apart, it's engines disabled, and it was loosing altitude fast. There was nothing could be done for the ship. It fell down, through the planets atmosphere, towards the earth below. Most of the crew teleported out, and the frigates where making a hasty retreat. The KGI had lost this battle. Edwande stood on the command deck, teleporter damaged. His ship was destroyed. He would never abandon it, so stood still, as fire enveloped him. A shocks ace burst from the ship, and spread across the planet. The Kar'Geualiea left the battle.

The pulse that Keeper shot from the Sekhmet’s Gaze Of God weapon had missed its intended target, thanks to slight miscalculation of the planet’s mass. It still had been able to stop the KGI bombardment, sweeping close enough to overload the shields of those KGI ships commencing the bombardment, making them easy targets for other ships to finish off. The mass of the planet was not only miscalculation, as the Keeper soon noticed when it started to get ready to fire the Sekhmet again. The first pulse had been slightly too long, causing the whole GOG-system to overheat dramatically. As the new fleet of Ryun-Wreae federation’s joined the battle, Keeper decided it would be wise to let Sekhmet cool down in case it would be needed more urgently later.

The arrival of the new fleet brought the fight to a new level, making the already crowded orbit even more cramped, not to mention the torrent of fire they threw in. Absolute had to reassemble the ranks of its remaining forces again to match the changed situation of the battle. Luckily the Absolutes flagship Nuntius was still relatively safe behind the allied ships, even though the amount of ships and debris made clear shots rather scarce.

However, Absolute was not interested in this battle, or who would win it. Orbs were the main reason for absolute and UFIAI to be here. On the surface Absolute was trying to get closer to the temple where Whoster and Kradus were dueling. Absolute had no intentions to get involved with the duel, but instead wanted to be close enough to storm in and seize the orbs as soon as one of them had destroyed the other. Problem was that the remaining KGI drones and Khartla swarms were keeping Absolutes forces occupied, especially now that most of Absolutes air units had been destroyed while countering the KGI bombardment. Luckily Keeper’s reinforcements were already arriving to the atmosphere.

Emperor Whoster's HUD flashed a bright red, a sign that he was taking damage and also that the Heat levels of his armor were rising drastically, he had to backdown so his armor could cool off. His last attack hadn't done too much, but repeated pummeling with an energy source of that magnitude would eventually kill Kradus.

"Awww, what's the matter little birdy? Getting too hot?" Kradus mocked and licked his lips with his black forked tongue. He held out his arm and an array of red lightning-like rays shot out at Whoster and shocked him.

Kradus laughed wickedly and felt the taste of his revenge begin to hit his tongue.

"This little birdy's angry." Whoster said.

The cooling units in the Emperor's suit kicked in, and the heat levels immediately started to cool down. He charged up another shot, and it zoomed towards Kradus. He gently move dhis arms up and down, covering him in white-hot energy.

The Disruption (IC) - Page 13 Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

Emperor Scrylis sat on his demonic throne. Two assassin drones stood guard as the door opposite opened. Two Kar'Geualiea officers walked in, staffs in their hands. Behind them, was a horrific creature. Scrylis began tapping his fingers on the arm rest of his throne. The hollow tapping filled the room as the creature moved towards Scrylis. One of its legs was visibly weaker than the other, and ended in four short tendrils. It's joints moved jaggedly, like it was still getting used to its legs. A thick web of green veins covered the creatures entire body. An orange glow covered the rest of it. One arm was spiked and seemed Brocken. While the other was covered in lumps and ended in three long tendrils. The creature opened its single lizard eye.
"So" Scrylis began "the monsters can think now." Even he knew of the horrors floating around the darkest reaches of the galaxy. An infection that evolved so rapidly, that no one could attempt to predict its path. And now, it seemed intelligent. The creature flexed its tendrils and a sound vibrated from its neck. It was a deep whir followed by rapid clicking. The assassin drones analysed the sound and attempted to translate. They interpreted bran waves to foresee the creatures intention. Onl effective on primitive creatures however. The drone spoke in a suitably deep voice.

##the plague comes, seeking partnership## the creature glanced at the drone and made another noise.
##We can be stronger as one, than as two##
Scrylis stopped tapping and thought. Everyone knew of the danger of this plague. To side with the monstrosities would be more useful than not.
"I am intrigued by your offer." Scrylis looked into the creatures eye, they where surprisingly similar, facially. One eye, no mouth. Probably an attempt to relate to the kar. "You suggest an alliance, I presume?" The creature thought a second, unsure of the words meanings. Another noise followed it.
##We have enemies like you. We have ambitions. We also have acess to abilities beyond you, and you have abilities beyond us. I suggest, a merger.##
Scrylis was suddenly very interested. The creature was getting smarter by the second, sentience was visibly growing in its eyes.
"A merger? We become one?" Scrylis would have smiled, if he had a mouth.
##Your races intelligence, joined with our... Versatility, would be a match for any enemy.##
Scrylis laughed. This was wonderful, the proposal was brilliant, but watching a creature gain intelligence was even better. How could he refuse this opportunity. With the plague on call, project exodus would be far swifter, and they would be able to crush the current enemy as well. A small alert appeared on the floor. It seemed ships where returning from edwandes little battle. But the infernos wasn't among them. No matter.
"We graciously accept your offer." Scrylis had an idea "and to show our sincereity, we will provide you with our DNA." Then, to the drones, "send up the commanders of each if those ships." Back to the creature "may our alliance last forever."
##for the Kar'Geualiea.##
"For, the Kardesh."

The Disruption (IC) - Page 13 Empty Re: The Disruption (IC)

The ground battles were starting to wind up, the KGI's numbers were majorly dwindling. The Jorro'kil and Ryun-Wreae fought as one against the teeming hordes of Dominion soldiers, mostly Zraak and Pure Karthla, there were some reanimated corpses as well, though. Forests of crystals were blood spattered, and distorted smoke rose up in many directions. Ships that had descended into the atmosphere could be seen burning and firing.

The Karthla had entrenched themselves in a massive Podra collection filling a deep chasm, spweing forth its infectant inhabitants. If the Podra fell, the Karthla's numerous army would also start to dwindle.

*static* "Sir, even a dozen Mortar tanks could only do so much against a hive that big, we'd need a ground nuke to clear it out entirely." *static*

"Dur'akk!" Said the Infantry Commander. He emitted a low pitch screech in annoyance, and scratched the bottom of his beak. He paced around the green Hologram of the planet, colorful icons surrounding it. There was a row of similar Holotanks, covered by tent-like roofs with weapon crates underneath. Deployed cover was set up all around the camp, and even a pair of small AA guns had been set up. Sentries had been posted inbetween the Deployed cover. Dropships passed overhead.

"Leuitenant!" He shouted. A Jorro'kil in red and silver power armor came running over.

"Get a LiveCom to the commanding officer of the Ryun-Wreae forces. We've located the Podra feeding the Karthla's numbers." The Commander gestured to a nearby COMMs pack.

"Sir." The officer retrieved the pack and typed in an encrypted COMs code which would connect with the RW's Head ground officer. He tossed the pack over to the Commander, gave a salute, and returned to another Holo-tank post.

"Is this the commanding officer? We have some Podra trouble to talk about."
