The Disruption (IC)

Kradus blocked Xej as much as he could. But the overlord was being drained of his power somehow... His armor was being dulled and he was exposed. Using his physical attacks he kicked Xej onto the ground and stabbed the birdman in the hip with his blades.

"You fool, you have no idea what you are doing. While you are focused on fighting me, there are more important things I am distracting you from! Drangoz is still being held captive by my minions the Necrotterrans, and another source of life lies on this planet! Yes! There are two orbs you little fool! A red and a blue! You found the blue one, now I get the red one! My soldiers probably have it by now, you are an idiot Therus!"

Lamor got out his gun and blasted the aldut in the inside of its mouth damaging its throat and mouth. It screamed and flung Lamor onto the ground as it slithered into the waters to heal for a bried second.

"What?" asked Lamor who overheard the conversation. "You're lying!"

"Why would I? What good would I get from lying about something such as this?" asked Lord Kradus.

Suddenly a massive Karthla Raid Hive soared through the atmosphere of space not far from planet Zaman... Soon it approached Zaman. As soon as it sensed the gravity pull of a new planet, it exploded into a huge array of Raid pods detaching from the very center pod and soaring down onto the planet. The pods scattered covering much sectors of the planet. Then, with fury they quickly ripped through the atmosphere and got into the air...

About 10 minutes later...

They struck the planet! Each left a green color in the sky and storm clouds gathered and the entire sky darkened as the planet had just been poisoned by the monsterous Karthla...

Suddenly from one of the pods burst twelve bulky Kraprek Karthla (planters) and a large Father. The Father banged on the pod and black goop was released from its creases and crevices. The slime then packed together and grew into large pods and Karthla drones along with Vorasks and other monsters... this was happening worldwide. The infection had just begun...

Breathe in. Breathe out.

"chrome actual! This is chrome 2-2! We are being over run. We need back...Aaah!"
"chrome actual this is chrome 3-1! We are engaging multie hostiles. I count twelve, thirteen, four... Aaah!..."
"there's too effing many of them! Retreat!"
The comms at the base were overwhelmed as the planet was infected. Dragon was down in the base, directing the units. He watched as each of the cardiographs on the wall flatlined, one after another. They were being overrun.

"look out!" Sergeant Bemias Emmaclint of The New Jabban OSO dove out of the way of a charging Dravol and watched as it smashed his ATV to smithereens (slight p-play sorry). He yelped and ran through the burning woods, watching his comrades die at the hands of the Karthla. He saw one Force member run through the forest screaming, one of his arms reduced to a bloody stump and his torso burning a bright crimson. Another one stood behind a tree firing into nothing, his entire body on fire. Bemias ran through the crowd, three other OSO members following him towards one of the pods.

"Caaw!!" Xej screeched in pain after being stabbed by Kradus, his anger beginning to collect.

"There couldn't be another energy core! How could you know anyway?!" Xej shouted. He jumped at Kradus with his sword but missed, and managed to do a dive-roll to keep form smashing into the ground. He stopped, and turned around.

Kradus laughed. "Clumbsy aren't we?"

He looked at them with amusement. Lamor wouldn't dare attack he stood in his tracks listening.

"We were able to track it here. As you know they are very radiant and easily tracked" he said. "And Drangoz isn't the only one who has visions in this galaxy" Kradus smiled.

After several Hours in space the Ship silently approached A planet own by the Third Arm Confederacy. So far there was no indication that they have been detected. That was both a blessing and a curse. They had time to prepare, but they had yet any idea as to how they will respond to them.

Anbourd the ship Itsu was nervous. He was his races first interplanetary ambassador in nearly a mellenia. one mistake and it will all be over.

" Captian how long till we are withing com range?"

" We already are. We've been waiting for your orders as to what to do."

" Oh okay. in that case i need to send a message to them. Prepare the com beam please"

" Yes sir!"

After several minutes it was ready."

" Sir the com beam is ready to go."

" Hello Jorro'kil and allies. I am Congressman Itsu R'no of The Garr'Ur Locality. I am a interplanetary ambassador sent by my people sent out in search of potential allies and trading partners. Please accept this message as a token of friendship and not hostility."

The message sent Itsu relaxed now all he had to do was relax and wait for a response.

After a short time of waiting, message was transmitted to the Garr'Ur ship.

"Greetings. We of the Jorro'kil have recieved your message. You have come to us to establish trade? Perhaps this is a possibility. Why did you refer to us as "allies" when no other contact save for this has been made?"

Then, suddenly, two Jorro'kil Cruisers appeared out of nowhere next to the Garr'Ur ship. They had been watching and escorting the alien ship in stealth, using a type of active camouflage to remain undetected by the Garr'ur.

Soon a message was received from the Jorro'Kil. At the captains command it was played as soon as Itsu R'no entered the com room.

"Greetings. We of the Jorro'kil have recieved your message. You have come to us to establish trade? Perhaps this is a possibility. Why did you refer to us as "allies" when no other contact save for this has been made?"

" Sir it seems that a small misunderstanding has emerged. Care to rectify?"

" Yes."

" Jorro'Kil you miss understand us. We refered to your allies in the message. And yes trade is a goal, but perhaps in time a greater relationship between our peoples is possable"

" Send the message"

" Yes sir."

The transmission was recieved by the Jorro'kil, which was promptly replied to.

"Ah, we see. No doubt, you wish to negotiate? There is a docking bay where you can land in a minor city."

Xej growled in a low tone. "True, their enegry signature is unlike other sources of power."

He regained a defensives stance, his sword ready to lethally puncture any who drew too near.

"Your turn." He motioned to Kradus with a fakely welcoming hand.

"With pleasure" said the warlord. Kradus's blades extended even further and steemed white and red smoke from the plasma cored in each blade. His red eyes flew onto Xej. Kradus then leaped into the air and plunged his blades down towards Therus.

Xej held up his sword, which shone in the moonlight, and clashed his blades against Kradus's. It was a difficult deflection, as his sword's two blades stuck themselves between the two openings of Kradus's blades. For a moment, the two remained silently still, then the action intensified once more. Kradus managed to summersault himself over Xej and break free their weapons from eachother. Kradus landed right behind Xej, afterwhich Therus immediately spun around to meet his opponant.

"You are a fool Therus, I've told you a million times!"

Lamor leaped into the air and stabbed Kradus in the back while he was unfocused. Kradus shrieked and chocked as blood poured from his backside. He plucked the sword from his back and swung it at Lamor hitting his chest with the blade side swinging him down. Kradus began to pour tears from his eyes. Tears of anger.

"I am a fool, Kradus?" Said Xej in a manor intentionally irritative.
"If I was a fool would I let myself be flanked by an opponant? I am a Zealot, it would be too low for me to contemplate."

Xej, seeing that Kradus was now extremely angry, prepared to defend against another attack, but hopefully Lamor would buy him some more time to outwit Kradus.

Lamor got out his gun ready to strike. Kradus had his sword. Then With fury Lamor shot, but Kradus deflected each bullet and stabbed Lamor in the gut. Lamor fell to the ground moaning in pain as greenish blood poured from his wound.

Kradus laughed and turned to Xej, he would let Lamor suffer as he died. Lamor would bleed out. Kradus swung Lamor's swod at Therus ready to kill.

"Ah, we see. No doubt, you wish to negotiate? There is a docking bay where you can land in a minor city."

The occupants Garr'Ur ship received this message with glee.

IItsu prepared the resonce

" We will gladly be escorted down to the planetary surface. Peaceful negotiations are very welcome, i pray they go well."

" Well that went fairly well, don't you agree captain?"

" Yes sir i do. I hope these Jorro'Kil are open to our kind sir. And i pray that your diplomatic skills are good enough."

" As do i good captain. "

" We will gladly be escorted down to the planetary surface. Peaceful negotiations are very welcome, i pray they go well."

The Jorro'kil received this message, and responded.

"Of course. The two ships that have escorted you will take control of your ship and land it in a docking bay. There will be some mild turbulence."

Xej blocked Kradus's attack with his own sword, used the base of one of the blades of his sword to pummel Kradus's sword-bearing hand, then spun around and smashed Kradus in the chest with his elbow. "Whatsa matter Kradus? Can't fight?" Said Therus.

Kradus dropped Lamor's sword and retracted his blades. He got to his knees and held his face grunting.

"You win" he said.

"What?!" Xej said in a half shocked, half amused tone. "The great and mighty Kradus surrenders? admits defeat? No, I cannot believe this. You, would not let yourself be killed even in circumstances which held odds piled greatly against you. This is a mind game." Said Xej, partially unsure of his statement.

"I am unable to fight" Kradus said. His blood ran in with the soil he sat on.

"You win this time" Kradus lowered his head with his eyes closed. He was in pain.

Itsu had to pause for a minute. They were already being escorted? Well it didn't matter they had agreed to talk. Then the ship began to shack and rattle. Then soon they were descending towards the planet below.

" Capetian hat is the status of the ship?"

" We have no control, but other than that were fine. Who ever is controlling it is doing a fine job."

" Good. now we just have ti wait for use to be docked"

He looked out the window and breifly saw two ships that were previously weren't there.

The Euchivæcean ship, with its passengers noticing that the ships were advancing toward their own, charged up a warning flare and fired it just above the advancing intruders. They repeated this three more times, yet the ships continued to advance on the patrol vessel. Inside, the First Officer of the craft walked up to the Captain, with a perplexed look on his face.
"Captain," The First Officer said, "I don't think that they get that these are warning flares. Probably coming in to examine the situation."
"Yes, yes, they are." The Captain replied, tapping her foot on the ground repeatedly in anxiety. "If they come into direct view, from any angle, we'll have to engage them when they engage us." The First Officer jumped at the word.
"Engage, miss? What do you mean?" The Euchivæcean worriedly inquired.
"They'll contact, or in my words engage, us in one of three ways- Scan and probe our craft, send us a message, or engage us by force..." As the captain finished, a low alarm bellowed as the group of intruding ships drew near. She sprung up onto her seat, and issued a Mild Emergency Alert throughout the ship. The ship stood quiet as they watched the fleet slowly close in on their scout ship...

Commander E'mara was rubbing the tip of her beak, pondering the possibility of life out in this sector.

Suddenly, one of the crewmen reported a change in the energy signals eminating from a nearby power source, a mobile one.

"Ma'am, the energy discharge our recorders have been picking up has changed slightly. Mainly the intensity of the eminations, as if whatever it is was powering something up." Said a crewman.

E'mara cawed slightly. "Hrm...activate the temp-lock and prepare to send a message in the general direction of those energy signals."

"Yes Ma'am, temp-lock prepared and COMM link open." Replied the crewman.

"Thank you.." Said E'mara. she leaned forward from her Commander's Chair and spoke into the COMM Grid on the control panel infront of her. Just before she was able to speak, a crewman shouted: "Ma'am, we've got something on the scanner, a ship, not too far from here. It should be visible on the viewscreen."

And sure enough it was. "Unlike anything I've seen..." E'mara noted.

"Engage the weapons system incase they open fire. I'll attempt to make contact." Said E'mara.

She again leaned over to the COMM device.

"Greetings.......who are you? We have come to identify the signals eminating from this sector of space, which appear to belong to you."

Hesitantly, the Euchivaecean captain opened up a transmission with the other ship. They weren't going to engage the ship with hostile force, luckily. Well, they would if her ship did.
"Um... Hi. I'm Captain I'cayet of the High Adhocratic Geniocracy of the United Euchivaeceus, or HAGUE. I assume that you detected our warning shots. A mistake on my part, for we are rather Isolationist. We mostly keep ourselves in seclusion from the rest of the galaxy, but you're the first to actually make official contact with us." She paused to press a button. "I'm transporting some goods from our ship, the Imalicreum over to your ship. These include native foods such as Ghinak and Nook-Chell Noodle Soup, photographs of our cities, including the capitol city of Huaranate. It also includes a brief on our empire which you must keep in total secrecy. Share it with government officials, and make sure that they keep it absolutely confidential. Otherwise, our drones may confiscate it." She stopped briefly to turn to her cousin, who was holding a Corned Ghinak Meat Sandwich.

"I'cayet, I just made this for you." Her cousin then looked into the viewscreen, meekly grinning at the others. "Hello there!" He said, before running off.

"Thank you, Ye'tamba. Now," I'cayet took a bite of her sandwich, chewing it every half-second before swallowing, with the warmth rousing her shoulder spines. "Now, as I was saying, the document will automatically load a communication with us. I will be in the conversation, of course. This way, our drones will be able to automatically identify you." She finished the sandwich, the heat making her spines stand up on end like bristles on a hedgehog. "If you don't mind, there is a docking station at the Huron Spaceport. That's about a half-parsec away from us, spinward, so it won't be a serious waste on fuel. I think it'd be better to talk face-to-face. In person, of course. Just follow our path." The ship slowly shifted out of orbit, and sped out toward the spaceport at a reasonable speed.

Commander E'mara was almost surprised by the forefront reply. Most empires she had encountered in diplomacy, despite the fact she had only met two other alien empire officials. As well as being somewhat suspicious of the freely given "HAGUE" documents and food. She would have to have them scanned and safely secured first, plus being somewhat confused by the Euchivaeceus officer randomly eating on screen. Not disgusted or insulted by this, but just not used to it.

She was used to Jorro'kil Commanders/officers meeting at a mess room onboard the ship every six hours for a large meal. Other than that, their was really no eating among the bridgecrew.

E'mara readied a reponse to the Euch ship.

"Captain I'cayet of the..Euchivaeceus, is it? Your greetings are, appreciated, however there are soem formalities we must proceed with before any diplomatic engagement. We'll have to check the good you're transporting to us first, standard proceedure. We must send a report and recordings to my...superiors, first, before a meeting can be arranged." E'mara was somewhat cold, yet concise. Most Jorro'kil ship Commanders were when speaking with unknown xenomorphs.

"I understand completely." I'cayet acknowledged the duties of the Jorro'kil. "We usually have to do that when we are on stricter grounds, such as the ones closer to our capitol city. But since this is not as close to there as it may have been if we were somewhere else, but we can be more lenient in our trade and meetings here. Security rings, you see, protect our borders as we come closer. Very big borders, literally." She paused to take a breath, flexing her limbs as she did so. "If I must further verify the contents being transported aboard the ship, I shall send you a live camera feed of the interior of the transport ship being sent over." She uplinked the feed to the communication. Just as it was said to be. "Also, you shouldn't be sickened by our food either. We'll wait for you here."
